1. Presumably their (late) response to the vtdi etc. price point is the key thing as already mentioned
2. Still not sure if I'll bother. The guests this year to me are meh, with the exception of perhaps billy, and the exhibitors list seems lacking.
3. I forgot to mention the soundtracks to bram stokers Dracula and the phantom menace. I want to add another shout for the o brother soundtrack too
4. John Taylor was a nice bloke too! Shame his 'show' talked more about his book than the nitty gritty of his playing style and equipment
5. Suckerpunch- wow!
6. http://youtu.be/-9u84VgSzzc I'm sold!!!!
7. Glad it works for you mate
8. A twin of my p lyte! Mine has not seen quite such an easy life however. GLWTS dude. Whoever buys this will be getting an awesome bass
9. Damn you ehx!! Just when I thought I had my drive sorted, along comes another possibility!!
10.
i think the palmer and the mooer would be unsuitable as the speaker emulation rolloffs only happen on the XLR out, so you wouldnt be able to apply them just to the suncoast, where as with something like the custom screaminator above, you could. plus, with a custom option you can tune exactly which frequencies are cut, leaving the low end unaltered. i say going with any sort of killer filter or EQ in the suncoast loop is your best bet, something tiny
The mooer di speaker emulation works on the 1/4" out too. I've used on both outputs at different times
11. Totally love my b9, but the c9 does different stuff. I'm using it for the shimmer stringy swell sound. Some of the sounds lost a little bass, but since I'm sending the organ sound to pa, that isn't too much of an issue. With the separate volumes, that shouldn't prevent too much of a problem If you can, try before you buy
12. My latest board utilising my new c9 pedal. I'm sending the organ sounds to pa, using the separate outs from the pedals to an a/b/y pedal, and then to the boss ab2 (I discovered I was getting clean sound to pa when the effect was switched off, so the ab box with an empty b channel effectively mutes the organ signal before the mooer di. 13. Don't flame me here, but the mooer micro di might fit the bill. Perhaps worth a try?
14. Thanks for the heads up. I shall be checking this out
15. My 'contact' will be getting some all being well
16. Has everyone seen this? I would imagine it will be released at namm. Any thoughts? http://www.thomann.de/gb/morley_m2_cliff_burton_fuzz_wah.htm?sid=937725fe8e8ff2c2ecdff1d61a191f24
17. Thank you to all of you lovely people that have clicked like- 'tis really much appreciated
18.
But you can roll it in glitter!
And stick a flag in it
19. My main band- not much in the way of stuff on fb https://www.facebook.com/barbedband But most of the real promo stuff is here- http://www.classicrockwithballs.com Any and all likes/ views are very gratefully received !
20. I have to say that I had no issues with the movement of the pedal, and gradual sweeps a la cliff weren't unacheivable. If you're playing in a bedroom, or on your own this a good pedal, but if you're in a band........
21. I have one. It sounds great on its own, but for me got lost in the mix, when using the fuzz. It's a great concept- it's good to see a company really pushing the boundaries, and trying to create something new and different
22. I hope you enjoy it. The vids don't sell it to me unfortunately. Maybe if I get to try one in person, it might be different
