  1. Hi After much consideration, I have decided to thin the herd a little. These pedals have not been used for a considerable while, and some have only been tried a couple of times, and in the case of the psu- not used at all! First up is a brand new Trex juicy Lucy power tank. This one runs at 12v only. I won it in a raffle and had no use for it, so here it is! Sells for around £100, so a bargain at £50? SOLD Secondly, a fender pt10 tuner. A basic model, bit tracks well to an open e, but not so well below that - £20 Sold Next up a fender blender fuzz pedal. Beloved of shoe gaze fans and bands like my bloody valentine, it has a unique sound with in inbuilt blend (as suggested by the name!) Last one I saw went on eBay for £77 + p&p, so £65 sold Moving along, we have an ehx micro q tron. A nice greasy filter, but since getting my bass envelope filter it hasn't been used. Someone please show this lovely pedal some love. Sells currently for around £60, so £35?SOLD Next is my old coloursound fuzz/wah/straight. Working well, and in pretty good nick for an older pedal (20+ years) I have seen these go for upwards of £100 on the 'bay, so £75 sold The next two pedals are both offerings from tone factor ( now mojo hand). The first is a fuzzsaw- a vicious fuzz pedal which sounds great with a bass. It has only one knob- volume. Please note that this is NOT the bass modified version. What shall we say for this rare beasty? £45 sold Secondly, is the boomstick bottom feeder. A filter based on the old dod 440 filter, but optimised for bass use. This has been with me since new, and the newer mojo hand red costing around £100, I'm asking £45 SOLD The red monster at the back is an old digitech rockbox. It is a combination distortion and chorus. Running from a single 9v battery or psu, it can cop the digital edged sounds of the heyday of glam and hair metal in the 80's Take this off my hands for £ 30? SOLD You will also see a dod grind fx 101. This is a rectifying overdrive modelled to sound Mesa esque. These seem to be becoming quite rare. £30? Not pictured here is a Mooer hustle drive. Bought it on a whim and didn't get on with it really. New -£59 must be worth £35 to someoneSOLD Finally, a Michael angelo batio overdrive. Essentially a tube screamer with a tweaked tone control as far as I can tell, it was available at around £100. Someone i'm sure could use a great screamer type pedal for £50? I am open to offers of trades. And prices I have given will include postage. I am going to be at the bass show on Saturday so if that could work for you lets talk and adjust the price accordingly! If you have specific questions abou any of these, please drop me a line
  2. I'll be there on the Saturday, and I might have a couple of pupils with me too. Fortunately I don't have a credit card!
  3. It's in e and modulates to g for the last section. The main riff runs open e to 7 fr on a, then to b on e string and 5 on a, two open es then b at 7 and 5 on a This is the main riff. Everything else is based around the c, d , and e with associated runs Hth
  4. Mr dpowers- that is a very tidy and well constructed board!
  5. For me, after a lot of trial and error, my chain runs: Tuner Light always on grit Octave Envelope Dirt Fuzz Comp if needed ( according to bands material) Wah Chorus Delay But a big +whatever to experimenting and finding your own preference
  6. I picked up one of the last batch. What a beauty! Definitely my goto fiver- the only 'ray I've ever liked
  7. The analog chorus is a clone/ reworking of the old boss ce5. It can do lush, soupy to subtle and all points between
  8. There was already a thread dealing with this very issue.
  9. I tried one recently. Had a nice tone, but wasn't what I was looking for. Definitely worth a good try though, as is the bass tube marker
  10. Might be worth trying: Ibanez phat hed Darkglass b3k / b7k Markbass mini dist/ bass tube marker Hardwire tube od Dod bass overdrive These are the ones I have tried that give the sort of tone I think you're after.

  12. This seems to be happening more an more frequently. Over the years I have not had a zip break, but over te past year at least three students have had the zip break on their gig bags. Perhaps it's down to cutting costs too far in relation to quality?
  13. For chorus I love my mxr black label chorus/ analog chorus (same pedal- different paint jobs) Delay wise, I've used and enjoyed the ehx memory toy, and boss dd3. But on my board is the carbon copy- amazing and versatile sounds on offer
  14. There seems to be an attitude around that gilmour foisted sb out of the band. However it's just not the case. Gilmour was a good friend of syds and was asked to play the guitar parts to cover syd as he was increasingly unable to play consistently. As was mentioned before, syd withdrew himself from the band due to his increased drug use. He would show up and just be there. One day the band just didn't pick him up on their way to a gig. By this point he seemed to be more of a liability to them. They definitely seemed to be feeling very guilty, yet comfortable with the fortunes they all made without him in the band.
  15. Ive been using one and gbus psu for years. Great board
  16. In two of my bands ( one classic rock/ metal, and the other more what I would class as classic pub rock) everything is in eb, mainly due to pitching vocals. Consequently I have 4 basses tuned at eb permanently, while the others are at standard.
