Again, I didn't know Steve, but it's never good to hear news like this. Steve would have been the same age as my dad - pretty unbelievable when I think about it like that as it really is such a young age to go. RIP Steve, and my deepest condolences to your family.

I've sold two basses and bought my entire rig all on this site, and I haven't had a single problem with any of the deals. Those members that I've met in person have been top blokes, and I'm pretty sure that those I only spoke to via email were as well. In other words: Basschat 1, eBay nil.

I would have filled my pants if I'd been in the middle of a Jam song only to find that two of them were standing there watching. Thanks for the heads-up on the Hammersmith gig as well. Slightly OT, but how are the Water Rats Studios? I've been looking at local rehearsal rooms and the info on their website looks promising, but it'd be interesting to hear from someone who has actually used them. Although I guess if they're good enough for the Jam, they'll be good enough for a rank amateur like me

Having seen RHCP twice in the last few years I have to agree that nothing cuts through like the Modulus live, it'll be interesting to see what Fender come up with if he really is getting a deal with them.
