1. Link to photos now added to the first post, folks. Cheers for confirming Andy and yes, gorgeous is certainly the word!
 2. Bought this around six months ago as I fancied something with a carbon fibre neck, and let's face it, who hasn't wanted to own a bass this sparkly at least once in their lives? It's a lovely, lovely instrument but no matter how hard I've tried to gel with it the neck profile is just a bit too thin for my tastes. As a result, it's been sat in a case for most of the time I've owned it which is frankly criminal for a bass which looks *this* good (especially under stage lighting). Everything is stock apart from the bridge and tuners, have been "upgraded" from chrome to black - I say "upgraded" as the actual parts are identical to the standard Gotoh ones, they just look a lot better in black! For those of you unfamiliar with G Basses, here are the specs and a couple of photos courtesy of Bass Direct (note - I'm not 100% sure, but I'm fairly certain this is the actual bass I'm selling): http://www.bassdirec...vey_Q_Bass.html The bass comes with a Peavey hard case, which is in good condition cosmetically BUT for some reason doesn't seem to be aligned properly and so it doesn't completely shut (whether the bass is in it or not). I've been meaning to look into this since I bought it, but as I've never used the case to either store or transport the bass it's never bothered me too much. Would prefer a straight sale but I am notoriously easily persuaded when it comes to trades, so feel free to make me an offer (no amps though, please!). Collection only from Crawley, West Sussex please, or I can deliver/meet within a reasonable distance. Link to photos here, the finish is a real pain in the arse to capture so I'll have to experiment with lighting and see if I can do any better: https://drive.google...ZGFoNzNvN2RvdVk Any questions, just give me a shout.
 3. [s]Picked this up in a trade a few months back but I just haven't bonded with it, and I'd much rather move it on to a good home rather than have it lying around 'just in case' (plus I've been told the hallway looks rather better when it isn't there - who knew?). It's a 2010 model in sunburst with a rosewood fretboard and black pickguard (this replaced the original tortoisehell one, which sadly I don't have). It has been gigged but is in good condition, no major knocks or dings bar the usual wear you would expect. The bass comes with the standard Fender hard case, which is also in good nick. A couple of things worth noting: 1) the case originally belonged to an American Standard Precision, although as far as I know the same cases were used for both P and J basses, and 2) although it is lockable, I don't actually have a key for it. Would prefer a straight sale but I am notoriously easily persuaded when it comes to trades, so feel free to make me an offer (no amps though, please!). Collection only from Crawley, West Sussex please, or I can deliver/meet within a reasonable distance. 6.
If you want packing materials, let me kmow
Very kind of you to offer, thanks. Given how this thread has gone so far, I may have to take you up on that
Oh no, wish I'd checked if this was current. I thought it was an unclosed dead ad and just parted with £50 more than you're asking for a similar bass. And I was in Crawley last week
I knew I'd regret leaving it six months to bump this again! Don't suppose you fancy a backup...?
 7. Here we have a 2008 Fender American Standard Precision Bass in sunburst, with a rosewood fretboard and tortoiseshell pickguard (which has one screw missing - I can probably sort out a replacement if this is a deal breaker!). Currently strung with six month old La Bella 760FS flatwounds, it feels and sounds very nice indeed - only selling it as I've got a Squier CV which covers all my P Bass needs so this isn't really getting a look in at the moment. As I've tried to show in the photos, this bass is not exactly what you'd call a museum piece. The finish is noticeably scratched on both the back and front of the body, however I should stress that this is purely cosmetic and actually not all that obvious unless you're up close. Comes with the original Fender hard case, which is in very good condition and seems like it could withstand one hell of a beating (although I'm afraid I don't have the key for it) and all the other associated bits and pieces - truss rod tool, allen keys, etc - bar the standard issue Fender strap. Actual weight TBC as soon as I can get my hands on some decent scales and a flat floor - it's heavier than my Squier but lighter than my StingRay, if that helps! Ideally I'm looking for a sale but would consider trades involving anything along the lines of the following (4 strings only, please!): Musicman StingRay/Sterling/Bongo/Caprice (particularly StingRay Classics or any twin pickup models) Fender Jazz (American Standard, Road Worn, etc) Fender American Standard Jaguar Fender Mustang PJ Lakland Skyline DJ/JO/44-60/J Sonic/44-02 I would prefer collection from Crawley, West Sussex and am willing to deliver/meet up within a reasonable distance. 12. With a heavy heart, the time has come for me to move on my 2004 Warwick Streamer Stage II. I bought this from these very pages in June last year, having wanted one for literally as long as I've been playing bass. Unfortunately, at some point during what could loosely be called my "musical career" I've become such a cliche that only something Fender-ish and fitted with flatwounds will do the job for me now and, as much as I would like to, I simply can't justify keeping the Warwick purely for occasional home use. As above, it's a 2004 model (so afzelia & ovangkol neck rather than the afzelia & wenge combination of earlier models) which has been used but no means abused. At various stages of its life the standard gold hardware has been replaced with black (all official Warwick hardware, and the original hardware is included) and the standard, plastic Just A Nut II has been upgraded to a proper brass unit. It also comes with the usual indestructible Warwick flight case, and truss rod tool. Overall, I can't fault it as an instrument - it plays great, sounds amazing, and is built like the proverbial brick outhouse. Cash price is what I paid for it: £1100. However, I would also be very interested in trade offers along the lines of the following: Fender (USA Jazz/Precision/Jaguar, Roadworn P/J) Musicman (StingRay/Sterling/Bongo?) Lakland G&L Sandberg Collection from Crawley, West Sussex much preferred, and I would also be prepared to meet within a reasonable distance. Any questions, just give me a shout. Cheers! (Thanks to Descendent for use of the photos - more available on request)
 13.
I know this was a while ago... but do you still have it up for sale?
I do indeed!
