1.
Hi mate, Is this Alder bodied? Thanks Jamie
You know, I have no idea!
2. Bump! £325 if collected from Telford. Should have stated that theres no hard case. Me Bad!
3. Is it ever worth getting speakers repaired (recone) or is it better to replace them. If its viable to get them repaired dose anyone have any recommendations as to who can do it? The speakers in question are from an Eden combo.
4.
Only £250 if collected!
Stroof! If it was a 4Ohm jobbie I'd be on my way now!
5. Yep, another one! I got this beaut off ebay before I bankrupted myself buying the '73. Its a 1991 Japanese '62 re-issue in very good condition, with a few little dinks as you would expect. It has a very powerful output, quite a lot stronger than my other basses so whether or not the pups have been upgraded in the past is open to question. As far as I can tell they look stock. Its a lovely bass but I cannot really afford to keep it. Im asking £375 which was quite a lot less than I paid. Drop me a PM if you want any more pics or have any questions. Paul
6. Gorgeous bass and defiantly the black plate but I think the neck's going to be way too slim for my likings.
7.
sorry to have dissapointed you GARETH.. for some of us players, there are things called "gigs",maybe you could look them up online,if you get a minute after browsing Adult themed sites..doing a "gig" requires leaving the house for long periods of time and playing infront of many people! yes! so the bass guitar isnt just a instrument for your bedroom! some of us "lucky" ones get the oppertunity to play with "real life" drummers! not just drum machines! further to this,i dont have time to sit on my computer all day, uploading pictures of bass guitars..so take the vice like grip of your right hand from your genitals, maybe get a job? learn the bass?or get a girlfriend? or maybe a boyfriend in your case?learn some valuble life skills...but most of all,do yourfelf a favour and WISE UP..if you think that earning a living from playing my bass guitar is me being a waste of space, you should be looking on other forums,i believe "Unloved and lonely" have just revamped their webpage. HOWEVER, i would like to thank the other guys who stood up in my defence and ACTUALLY READ MY ORIGINAL POST. some pictures are up now too.email me if you require more..sorry Gareth, that doesnt include you. ;-)
I think that told him! That Precision is lovely!!
8.
Guys, it is Bernie Goodfellow BTW! Mark
I've just had a conversation with the man himself! What a thoroughly nice and helpful guy.
9. Oh man, theres just too much Eden gear for sale here. The GAS is unbearable! 8 or 4 Ohms?
10.
Bernie, EBS reputataion is paramount to them andBernie. Bernie didn't even ask the age of my bass head, his attitude is to get it fixed. If Bernie does charge it won't be an arm or a leg, I am sure of it. ade
Really? That's good to know!
11.
Hi Paul, Get in touch with Bernie Goodman of GB Cuitars. He is the UK distributor and official servcice company for EBS. When I had problems with my HD350 I phoned Bernie, sent it to him, he repaired it and returned it. The only thing it cost me was the courier to him. Bernie is first class, and so very helpful. His number is 01273 220055. ade
Thanks Ade. I'll give him a bell. Tho sadly its not under a warranty so I bet I'll be paying a whole lot more than the carriage!
12. I seem to be having some problems with me amp. Rather than me trying to clumbsily explain what's wrong with it can anybody here who's in the West Midlands recommend a good, competent repairer who can check this out for me? Paul
13. A lot of Precisions can be a bit hit and miss but usually you cannot go wrong with the Japanese ones. Cost wise, about £250 upwards I guess.
14.
i bought a warwick streamer S I IV off Paul last year through Ebay. Hes a great guy and the bass is awesome. Plays like a dream.
I remember now. I bet you had great fun on the train with that monster of a case! It was a lovely bass... sigh
15. Thank you Nick and Chris. Its always nice to know that your basses go to good homes! Absolute pleasure meeting up with you gentlemen. Again, Thanks. Paul
16. Stingray now on hold. Precision withdrawn from sale. 1984 SQ Squier now £250 Thanks for all your interest and comments guys!
17. This is a practically unused and pristine Stingray. Seriously there's not a scratch on it. It comes with the Musicman hard case as in the pictures. I'm asking for £650 which is a fair price as I've seen them go for 700+ on ebay. I'm based in Shropshire and I would prefer not to post. I don't mind doing a meet up if its not too far. Also as part of my mass clear out I'm going to let go of my '78 Precision. It looks original though I'm not 100% sure with the scratch plate. I'm asking for a realistic £750. It doesn't have an original case but I can supply an old knackered one if required. And finally, for now my 1984 Japanese SQ series Squier Precision. I'm only selling this as I have two. The other is exactly the same but heavier (which I prefer for some odd reason). £280 I cannot accept any trades as I really really do need to thin the collection. And again I really don't want to post any of the basses as I've had nothing but damage and hassle in the past. Please PM if you have any questions. Cheers, Paul
18. Bummer! Thats a real kick in the pants. That body is superb. I'd never be able to tell that its a re-fin.
19.
Right this needs to go so now 725quid including postage cheers steve
Please somebody buy this before I'm forced to rob the post office, again... Thats if I can find one open!
20.
now on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=300269459700
Jeez! Nobody snapped it up? I've already got one so I dont really need another, or do I...? Aggggh GAS!
