1. Great guy to deal with. Thanks Col!
2. Darling I just love it!
3. Our guitarist got a shiny new LP about a year ago and I know that he had some initial setup problems with it and it went back to the shop several times. Needless to say he uses his Strat more.
4. I'm so horrendously bad at slapping is funny. But I could watch a decent slapper all day! To be honest I'm just too lazy to learn but you have to ask yourself do you have to? Probably not.
5. Oh god. I have a '73 Precision and that Jazz is stunning. But I'm hopeless without frets!
6. Oh go on then... Will you post it? If you will, could you get a cheapy quote off interparcel and PM me with the total? Cheers
7.
They do, but the didn't have any in stock when i got mine
Oh right, I never knew they did a 4U. Did they do a 1U for tuners?
8. Why couldn't they have made these 4U? I would love this for my 650 but the tuner would be homeless.
9. Oh bloody hell no! Not more amp problems Steve? If I had the cash I'd buy it back now for £450. Its a belting bass and I'm beginning to miss its slapping qualities. Not that I have any slapping qualities tho!! I hope you get a quick sale and get that amp sorted once and for all.
10. Can anybody point me in the right direction as to where I can get some replacement crossover fuses for a Eden Metro? Ta!
11.
Hi mate, Is this Alder bodied? Thanks Jamie
You know, I have no idea!
12. Bump! £325 if collected from Telford. Should have stated that theres no hard case. Me Bad!
13. Is it ever worth getting speakers repaired (recone) or is it better to replace them. If its viable to get them repaired dose anyone have any recommendations as to who can do it? The speakers in question are from an Eden combo.
14. Need beer money BUMP! £360
15. Rumpy Bumpy!
16.
Only £250 if collected!
Stroof! If it was a 4Ohm jobbie I'd be on my way now!
17. Yep, another one! I got this beaut off ebay before I bankrupted myself buying the '73. Its a 1991 Japanese '62 re-issue in very good condition, with a few little dinks as you would expect. It has a very powerful output, quite a lot stronger than my other basses so whether or not the pups have been upgraded in the past is open to question. As far as I can tell they look stock. Its a lovely bass but I cannot really afford to keep it. Im asking £375 which was quite a lot less than I paid. Drop me a PM if you want any more pics or have any questions. Paul
18. Gorgeous bass and defiantly the black plate but I think the neck's going to be way too slim for my likings.
19.
sorry to have dissapointed you GARETH.. for some of us players, there are things called "gigs",maybe you could look them up online,if you get a minute after browsing Adult themed sites..doing a "gig" requires leaving the house for long periods of time and playing infront of many people! yes! so the bass guitar isnt just a instrument for your bedroom! some of us "lucky" ones get the oppertunity to play with "real life" drummers! not just drum machines! further to this,i dont have time to sit on my computer all day, uploading pictures of bass guitars..so take the vice like grip of your right hand from your genitals, maybe get a job? learn the bass?or get a girlfriend? or maybe a boyfriend in your case?learn some valuble life skills...but most of all,do yourfelf a favour and WISE UP..if you think that earning a living from playing my bass guitar is me being a waste of space, you should be looking on other forums,i believe "Unloved and lonely" have just revamped their webpage. HOWEVER, i would like to thank the other guys who stood up in my defence and ACTUALLY READ MY ORIGINAL POST. some pictures are up now too.email me if you require more..sorry Gareth, that doesnt include you. ;-)
I think that told him! That Precision is lovely!!
20.
Guys, it is Bernie Goodfellow BTW! Mark
I've just had a conversation with the man himself! What a thoroughly nice and helpful guy.
21. Oh man, theres just too much Eden gear for sale here. The GAS is unbearable! 8 or 4 Ohms?
22.
Bernie, EBS reputataion is paramount to them andBernie. Bernie didn't even ask the age of my bass head, his attitude is to get it fixed. If Bernie does charge it won't be an arm or a leg, I am sure of it. ade
Really? That's good to know!
23.
Hi Paul, Get in touch with Bernie Goodman of GB Cuitars. He is the UK distributor and official servcice company for EBS. When I had problems with my HD350 I phoned Bernie, sent it to him, he repaired it and returned it. The only thing it cost me was the courier to him. Bernie is first class, and so very helpful. His number is 01273 220055. ade
Thanks Ade. I'll give him a bell. Tho sadly its not under a warranty so I bet I'll be paying a whole lot more than the carriage!
24. I seem to be having some problems with me amp. Rather than me trying to clumbsily explain what's wrong with it can anybody here who's in the West Midlands recommend a good, competent repairer who can check this out for me? Paul
