  1. There must be some extremely rare models here!
  2. Those Thunderbirds! 😍 That really is an outstanding collection
  3. Really need to see some pics of your basses! Lots of Gibson here 😎
  4. Ed bought my Lakland bass recently. Another no messin' great Basschatter to deal with! Many thanks 👍
  5. David bought my Roscoe bass. A no messin' transaction throughout! Lovely and interesting guy too and will hopefully deal with again. 👍
  6. Just bought Andy's TKS cab. Excellent and friendly communications throughout. Happy for me to try out the cab on collection and embarrass myself on his lovely Sandberg 5 string! Another top Basschatter to deal with 👍
  7. I'm having a rethink of my amp set up to suit my current needs. New band etc... First up is my excellent TD650 amp. This is my main amp and I'm not really 100% about selling it but basically I don't really need such big gear now. It's in great condition and comes with its Gator 3U gig bag. Second is my remaining lightweight (19Kg) Neo Line 2x10 cab. 4 Ohm 500w Also, my Proline 1x15 (400w 4Ohm) cab. Very tidy condition. No tweeter in this, just big bassey thump. Works great with one of the 2x10s. Collection or meet only (within reasonable distance). Located in St Helens Merseyside and happy doing a 100 mile round trip if you bung us a few fuel tokens! Priced to sell @ TD650 - £350 Collected HD350 - £250. Now sold 2x10 NeoLine £275 1x15 Proline £140 Collected
  8. Price dropped bump! Not looking for trades now.

  10. For sale is my Lakland DJ4 in LPB with matching headstock. 4Kg And in excellent condition. I bought this from BassBros last September as a back up for my Roscoe for the band I was in. I'm no longer with that band and this isn't being used. The bass is in excellent condition with no dinks or scratches. There are a couple of small indentations to the back of the neck that I was unable to capture on the photos. Other than that, its perfect. Recently set up with a low action, too low for me if I'm honest! It's a Korean made one and the build quality and finish is superb as you'd expect. It came with a gig bag although nothing fancy. I'm unable to ship the bass but happy to meet/deliver within reasonable distance from Merseyside.
  11. For sale is my Roscoe LG3000 (LG4) Custom. Outstanding bass in excellent condition and only 7Lbs/3.2Kg! I bought this bass here nearly 3 years ago as I needed a quality lightweight bass with a good flexible preamp for the band I had just joined. It certainly didn't disappoint. My time with that band has come to an end and this bass just isn't being used. The build quality and finish is right up there with the top stuff. If you're aware of Keith Roscoe basses you'll already know! These are special. Body is Spanish Cedar with Box Elder top. Neck is Maple/Purpleheart/Maple and the fingerboard is Paduk. 18v Bartolini Pre with Bass Treble and adjustable mids. Bart JJ pickups. Hipshot bridge and Ultralight USA tuners. Roscoe fitted case. Bass is located in St Helens Merseyside. I'd rather not ship this due to its value but I'm happy to meet/deliver up to 100 miles. Not really looking for trades as I do need to pay for something. The price is what I paid 3 years ago which was a great price back then for something like this. Any Q's or more pics, just ask away. Cheers.
  12. I played my first gig for new band last night, first gig for 6 months in fact. Anyhow, towards the end I was beginning to get the pains in my back I usually get with a heavier bass even though I was using a pretty lightweight bass. No back pain today but neck and shoulder (left side) giving me some grief. I'd really love to play sitting down and I'd probably play better for doing so.
  13. This was my old bass and I'd love to have it back but I'd need to shift some gear first to raise the funds. Anyhow. I have a long history of having really great basses, and then selling them and this being one of them. I bought it off eBay. It looked fab with the off white body, heavy road worn look and glossy maple neck. I was however disappointed with the bloody awful pickup routing and as it was not disclosed by the seller, I did get some refund. With this I bought the Kiogon loom and vintage pickups. Fitted a Fender '62 tort guard and later fitted the reverse tuners for the authentic look. This made the bass a whole lot better in looks and sound. I remember having flatwounds on and it sounded awesome. I probably sold it to the OP to recoup some funds as I'd seriously upgraded my amp rig at the time and it bust the bank! As I previously mentioned, I'd love to have it back but my wallet is empty at the moment. Don't miss out!
  14. I think I'd have to go for the red one. But as mentioned above, I'd probably kill for a reissued TBII - We can only dream... 🙄
  15. Addictive aren't they and I'm pretty much hooked! I've always had a soft spot for them but until I pull the trigger on the Orville, I've never had a go on one. So after the Orville came the Non Reverse Gibson and then the Greco TB900 which in my very humble opinion is the coolest bass I've ever owned. Probably could do with a good set up but for now it's fine for me and it sounds absolutely huge!. I took the Non Reverse to an audition a couple of weeks back and it sounded wonderful and got some very favourable comments from the band, second audition this Tuesday and I might take one of the others as well.
