  1. Just lovely. Pretty glad I'm a 4 string man. Fabulous. Good luck. This should move pretty quick I'm sure
  2. Lovely. I have a Gallas. Great bass from a top builder. Go on spoil yourself fellas.................
  3. What a beaut. Don't see many of these for sale. Just ordered an ACG or otherwise I'd snap your hands off. Good luck with the sale.
  4. Oh man - what a sweet SEI that is............... I wish
  5. Agree fully with 3050. They are to be played. I have never regretted using mine on stage. Just be careful - no shirt buttons, belt buckles etc and you will do no harm. I always have my belt buckle on my left side out of the way of the back of my guitars, and hey Ho - no buckle rash. Easy peaty fellas.
  6. I like it but its a variation on the old Fender theme to me. No doubting the quality though
  7. Jesus, what a shame for you. This is a stunner. Sure to move. This is an expensive beast when new. All best.
  8. Man that's the prettiest Ric I've ever seen. What a peach. Somebody buy it so I can get to sleep.

    Sold

Oh my word. What a beaut. Looks like a steal to me. Fabulous
  10. The lengths Fender will go to to get sales never fails to amaze. If you want a decent 6 get a Japanese one. Forget all about Mexico the quality can't compete.
  11. Hmm good points made. But without going into specific alterations it should all really be about improving playability and sound - not aesthetics. All you really have to be careful of is not to damage the normal value of well - mainly Fender basses to be honest. Any purist or collector will not want any alterations so if you do it make sure you use compatible upgraded bridges etc that do not incur drilling any other holes in the body...... And keep all the original parts including screws so you can reverse it all if you want to pass it on in the future. This is real important especially with Fenders. People want all those crap original parts - not your improved bits. There you go - there's my twopenneth on this subject.
  12. Very pretty but an awful lot of beer tokens for a one truck pony.
  13. Haha. I know what you mean Howard. Great stuff.. Will see you when I get back for winter. Want some work done on this SEI bass Howard. All best. Chris
  14. My 1970 P Bass. Load of crap. Couldn't wait to be rid and that was 40 years ago. Suppose whoever has it now cherishes this piece of s*** as a good investment. Bullshit all this sentimental stuff about old Fenders. If you got a good one back then you were lucky.
  15. No surprise this has gone in just 4 days. There is always a market for class. Whoever has got it will have unlimited pleasure. Congratulations
  16. Thanks Ziggy. Ive seen it. I believe it was in the North East previously. Lovely bass but I'm not a single cut fan I'm afraid. I'm after a real sweet harlot - but then - arent we all ?
  17. Just lovely. You must be after something pretty special to part with this beauty. I can't ever see me selling mine unless of course another special ACG comes along. Did I really say that! Better call the shrink tomorrow I think.
  18. Hallelujah. At last it looks like someone has seen the light. Hope it goes and I can get some sleep.
  19. Lovely. The only Rick I would ever consider buying. Simplicity is the iey
  20. Today I'd forget them and go the Eminence route
  21. Why would you want to bother with one of these things. Unless you are a millionaire of course and dont give a fornication if it gets chipped or not. Other wise buy a bass that you can really enjoy playing without financial terror if it gets a ding. Pointless bass in my opinion. An exercise in craftsmanship - yes of course, but you can buy far better basses for much less. IMHO
  22. Well I beg to differ. Worst bass I ever owned was a custom shop Corvette. Awful thing with uncontrollable D.Bucks and wide wide neck. Never again for me. Try and think carefully before you buy my friend. They arent worth the cost. Oh ....... IMHO of course
