1. That'll teach me to research 1st. My dad always said I only opened my mouth to change feet.
2. Lost the link somewhere in the ether, but 2 Aria Pro 11's on ebay one at £1500, one at £1850 I think. Am I missing something? Karl. PS Jon, your new avatar equates to cleaning bill for coffee removal from laptop

Saw the original post, yet just realised we've lost him. I bought a 70's re-issue P off him a few months back and the back and forth banter kept me laughing for a week. Bless you my friend.
4.
Duck Dunn now on hold pending a sale
Hello Jim. In the unlikely event of this going belly up, could I ask to have 2nd pop at the Duck Dunn please? Similarly, if the new owner doesn't get on with it, could you ask them to let me know? Bump for the Jazz. Cheers, Karl.
5. Hello again Chris? If you haven't decided to go for cash, the only thing I could offer is a white/rosewood/tortie 70's re-issue non export Japanese Precision, bought from Old Git, of this very manor. 40 mm nut. Few dings but lovely. This bass plus £250. I know it's not what you are after. I adore this bass and will only let it go if I get a Duck Dunn. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=80859 I have Old Git's original photo file that I should be able to email to a personnal email address. I hope he's OK with me nicking his work? ( it's a bloody sight better than may efforts would be!) I know it's unlikely, but I do have to ask, just on the off chance. I still have cash available as well. Many thanks, Karl.
6.
Well blow me down... I have never seen another one... I also own one of these, and its also been defretted at some point!!! Blimey... small world! Hearin' ya loud and clear on the dings, mine has loads. Must get it out and give it a play sometime, in the meantime have a free bump! In fact here is a picture of mine to add to the Aria love. Cool basses!
Sorry to nick the thread, but love the Washburn. Wish I'd never sold mine when I allegedly grew up and moved to Fenders! Bump anyway.
7. Hiya Tom. Sure it will have been suggested, but try some hollowbody basses, like a Cassidy, or perhaps a headless/no body Steinberger kinda thing. I know a few years back I had an active hollow-bodied Fender (HMT? I think). It weighed very little, but boy did it loud! Best of luck mate, Karl. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=97980 http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=98777 Wa hay, I just figured out how to do a link. Megal, megal (Muttley impersonation).

9. Ye Gods, that brings back memories. Er, bump.
10.
Duck Dunn now on hold pending a sale
B%^$&"*s, too late again. Gnashing of teeth.
11. Please, if you eventually decide to sell the Duck Dunn, could I have 1st refusal? Cheers, Karl.
12. There's a bloke in Blackpool selling an Epi Korina Black Explorer, start £200, BIN £400. I mailed him last week pointing out Thomann, new, £228.66, free delivery, manufacturers warranty. Did the same to a different bloke in Cambridge 2 weeks before. He was also £200 starting, saying no longer made, rare as Rockin Horse %£^& blah. Told bloke in Blackpool I'm a 52 year old dinosaur who found the above new bass in less than 1 minute. Perhaps other interested parties might? Offered him £150 collected when he doesn't sell it. Surprisingly no bids yet. Karl
NNNOOOOOOOOOOOO The last time I went on the site I browsed for hours safe in the Knowledge I wouldn't be able to get any. . This is just bad very bad . VERY BAD INDEED
Oh, yowser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
14.
Anyone else remember when it was Phantom of the opera and then She sells sanctuary?? Lucozade always seem to pick good tunes
Ah, those were the days!
15.
I have done that a few times my advice would be, home work, home work home work. You say they are copy key but it’s worth checking. Write the songs downs it doesn’t have to be a score and it doesn’t matter if only you know what it means but the process of writing it down helps you remember them. Try to get a live recording for the endings and if some of the songs links. Just be yourself and enjoy
Ditto. I did exactly this in similar circs, about 5 months ago. That was after a 5 year lay off. I was lucky, I got 3 rehearsals, but we only covered a dozen or so of the 37 songs. Work at it, be confident and enjoy. Best of luck.
16. PS, in the unlikely event you are going anywhere North of Birmingham in the next month or so, would you let me know and perhaps we may be able to arrange to meet up, with one of the cabs going to me? I am in a position to buy one of these cabs before selling my Aquilar 2x10. The only true reason I want an SWR 2X10 is because I am a rig tart, and want it all matching SWR. Especially those lovely Chrome grills! Regardless Ross, good luck and my thanks, Karl.
17. Hello Ryan. How about some photo's, where you are, and where the amp was made? Cheers, Karl.
18. For Gods sake somebody buy this before I weaken further. I only live 20 miles away and the need/want calculation is tipping badly. Karl.
19. I spent ages looking for one of these, gave up and got a Lakland Daryll Jones. That jazz is stunning and worth every penny. Good luck.
20. Many thanks for all that info Ross. Exactly what I am looking for at a reasonable price. Gutted that it's a 450 mile round trip to your town. Very best of luck with your sale, and thanks again. Cheers, Karl.
21. Hi Ross, sorry if I have missed any info but, Where abouts are you? Would you sell just one of them? Are they 8 ohms? Are they chrome front grills? How many watts? Photos if poss? Cheers, Karl.
22. Hi Andy. I had a kinda Purpleheart one of these maybe 10 year ago. I also struggled to sell mine when the time came. I ended up part ex-ing it against a big Marshall rig, which I sold when I packed up for 5 years. Staggeringly good bass, but I think it's a relatively specialist market. Hang on in there and good luck. PS potential punters, top guy to deal with, gear really well looked after PPS. Someone buy his SWR 750x, I am weakening!!!!!! I don't NEED 750 watts.
23. Only reason I am dithering is it's 4 ohms, so I would have to sell my 8 ohm Son of Bertha, which I love (until I lift it!! the strength of youth is long gone). I would also have no use for my 8 ohm Aguilar 2x10. Cracking buy this cab.
24.
hey man you still looking to sell the head? could i have some specs of it aswell cheers Aaron
Hello Aaron. If the 1 x15 is 8ohms, sell parts of your anatomy to get that and the head. With your 8ohm 4x10 you will have an excellent rig. Good luck!!! Karl. PS, sorry for thread hijack!!!
