    SWR 350X PRO for sale in 2U Gator case. I am now in the position where the Guitards and Tub Thumper are going through a 3k rig, and I'm not (sorry bassist plank-spanker we haven't got full range bins, er, bass drum you t^^ts?).     Great to see so much love for YES here. I saw them on my 16th birthday, my 40th birthday and another 4 times since then. I bought a Kasuga copy in 76, I learnt most of the lines. The band I was in was going to rule the world, with the material we wrote. How the **** did I end up selling Private Medical Insurance Thank God for CD's, vids, Youtube and Basschat. Oh well, time to load the van for tonight's bloodshed on the dancefloor.

    Again, all PM's replied to but I need somebody to bite the bullet on this please. If you look through the amps/cabs for sale forum there has recently been a thread dedicated to love for AGUILAR's, not put up by me. There are various interested parties but I now have the chance of a deal with a pretty irrisistable Jazz. If the Jazz is still available by Thurs night and nobody has asked me to hold the cab (even if it's just so they can come and try it WITH NO OBLIGATION), then I will be going for the Jazz. As I said cash preferred but having half a dozen people interested yet nobody even asking to hold subject to trying, I need to start thinking about other options. Cheers, Karl.

    Uriah Heap gig went on page 2, but apart from the obvious metal gods, Quo, 10CC or Greenslade would all have done nicely, even if only for a few days before they realised I'm crap Karl.

    Earlier this year (with an originals band) I turned up for a gig. Our singer asked if the support bassist could use my rig, 10 mins before a sound check. I said no prob, £500 cash deposit up front please. Said girly singer decided to call me a knob, so I told her no prob, she could give me the £500 deposit. I pointed out I NEVER loan gear out after a dickhead blew up my amp a few years back. At the time he just shrugged and walked, I got a £200 bill. Like many have said, the promoters should be organising this. Karl.

    Crap. 1st bad one I've had with BBGM. The dozen or so there enjoyed it but; Virtually no bugger in, landlady had gone with half the pub to a karaoke night with all her cronies. Rest of the regulars at Mexican night half a mile away. Came back at 12.30 wanting to know why we were packing up. 1st and last at that one methinks, dummy seriously spat out. Karl.
