1. That's a really nice looking bass. Looks quite well made too.
2.
There's no Olympic White so I can't play.
Et moi.
3. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
4.
Shaftesbury. First time in ages I've spotted one which hasn't been posted yet. (I hope). http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Shaftesbury-bass-gui...=item3cb2624602
Buyer says "I don't know if the electrics work".
5. Many thanks Jon, even if my thanks are 2 months too late
6. General consensus, get a life Karl and move Life getting, moving on.
7.
Maybe he posted it when listings were free last weekend, isn't fussed whether it sells or not so has priced it at what its worth to him to keep it?
Perhaps, however I wouldn't like to see somebody who has not had the benefit of Basschat, fork out £400 or so, plus delivery.
8. Once again I miss out on a tuner, but at least it will be going to a good home. Well done BIG.J, hope the SWR's still making you happy
9. Below is the gentlemans reply The "no offence" bit is a sarcastic reply to my politeness. Another FEEBay tit. "if you are not interested in buying the guitar at this price then dont waste your time or my time reading the message. you are the first person to point this out and i always have a few watchers. but please "no offense". - theused_123"
10. Damn, missed the end of the auction and was thinking of going up to £2.5k! It didn't sell either. Must be because I'm a one brain celled troll Karl.
11. Emailed this guy to tell him, NEW bass £237, NEW case £66, free delivery. So Thomanns will send me the brand new (no buckle rash) bass and case, to my door, for £303. Why do people expect to pay £240 for an Explorer bass and get £200 back on it a year or so later. This is the 4th I've seen in that sort of price range, since August and not one of them has sold. 12. Forgive my laid back commentary, but that is STUNNING, esp with the tortie plate and black strings Oh how I wish. Good luck, Karl.
13. I had a Gibbo one of these. Balance was atrocious, virtually had to shag it to keep it playable. Not for those of nervous disposition. Karl.
14. I'm afraid abusing potential buyers makes him a complete tit in my book. Karl.
15. Thank God for that! It was getting far too close to the amount of my last remaining pounds, and I live scarily close. Well done that man!
16. Ye Gods that's sweet. Good job my '75 re-issue (non-export) is Japanese Good luck kinda bump. Karl. edited for spelling again
17.
Thank you very much. I will now leave the building.
18. Fairly sure I was watching this on ebay, so, yeah, where are you based please? Karl.
19. I think Kevinonbass made an appearance in this hallowed forum a few months back. Could be wrong but the moniker is rining bells.
20. Welcome from Wigan, the land of cobbled roof's Karl.
21.
Thursday bump.
Have Wednesday bump and save the Thursday one for tomorrow Tom
