1.
I'm in Southampton later this week. If anyone wants this brought back up to London area, then go for it. I can help out.
Many thanks. People just dont have the money at the moment otherwise this wouldve been snapped up at such a low price for a brand new top of the range piece of bass. Or maybe they dont know what an amazing piece of kit this is.
2.
I read on the boss forum ( I think.I'll find the link) that the GT 001 can be used for bass, vocals and keys...this was from somebody from Boss... seeing as the 001 is the no pedals version of the GT100 I feel reassured...also the fella that does the GT editor recons it sounds a lot better than the GT10B... However I really hope Boss include some bass amps in thier next update for the GT100 and GT001....or dare I say it...a GT 100B!!!!
The GT-001 only has amps and effects of the GT-100 Version 2.0 which is designed for guitar, although the XLR mic input can be used for vocals or acoustic instruments. Note: no mention of bass. While some may utilise the effects of the GT100 and the GT editor guy may suggest it for a bass guitar, it is a guitar fx processor and does not have bass amps in its menu. Let's hope Roland do give us the GT100B sooner rather than later!
3. Of course you might get away with using some parts of a GT100 for bass but bearing in mind it was designed for guitar a GT10B would be better.
4.
Can't beat the b3 as a preamp... they all sound pretty great. However, per patch you only get 3 slots, so if you use one as preamp then you're down to two... might work for you, might not. I loved mines except for the fuzzes. Edit: just noticed you've already sourced a gt10b. Ah well... if still recommend a b3 too!
Is there a latency on the Zoom? I dont get that with the GT6B but I know I did with my zoom guitar fx unit.
5. Sorry no trades as I'm having a cull. My blue sparkle MM is not as superior but gets the nod as it matches the band logo and drumkit. I have just sold all but one of my guitars (no longer play but handy to keep one) and this is the last of my basses to go for now. It has never been played. Has stayed in the case since purchase. Grab a bargain!
6. These are the original Italian made ones with RCF drivers. Well looked after and kept in Mackie bags so in excellent condition and perfect working order. No denominations of £50 notes please. Relisted due to time waster.
7. Perseverance and how you are selling your band to a venue is key. Either that or get with an agency.
8. Wonky. ...I am female so wouldn't be offended. Will be going to Maplin today. Many thanks.x
