1. Absolutely faultless transaction with Patrick, a pleasure to deal with. Deal with ultimate confidence. Enjoy the bass and good luck with the jazz/funk band. All the best and thanks Patrick, cheers, Karl.
2. Buy from this man! You should see the Japanese '75 re-issue I bludgeoned, sorry, gently persuaded him to sell me :brow: Good luck Tom.

Dont know much about SWR really, what ive heard has been good though.
I've got SWR 350X HEAD, and Son of Bertha 1x15, also Aguilar 2x10. SWR is very well built, great clarity of sound. Try looking up SWR reviews on Harmony Central, in their legacy reviews section. Certainly seems a good buy at the starting price. Good luck, Karl.
4. Bump for a gent. Wish I had just a little more cash.
5.
If you can afford to pay fifty quid for a sticker, you can probably afford a bass that already has the sticker on it..
6. Hello Gaz Wills, sure this has gone, but I sent you a PM last week. If you still have it could you PM me please. Cheers, Karl.
7. Just the thing for Rock night at The Mucky Duck

9.
There's always the Make an Offer button.
A fiver plus an hours therapy

11. Probably final bump before FEEBay. As ever, changing circumstances. Possible trade for 450, 500 watt (at 4 ohms) Ampeg, Tiny Terror, SWR, MarkBass, Genz Benz, Ashdown. Cheers, Karl.
12. That's crazy money, wish I was in the same time zone. Good luck bumpy thing. Karl.
13. Top transaction. Top guy, highly recommended. Jase made his mind up and made the whole thing so easy. All the best mate and enjoy. Cheers, Karl.
14.
i wish my p bass wasnt mexican
I wish I didn't have to sell this, but she who must be ignored is weakening. She hasn't snarled about it still being in the front room for nearly a full day. :brow:
15. Thanks Jase, hope this helps, cheers, Karl.
16.
I had one of these, and it was a superb bass, should've kept it. In fact it's the one bass out of the dozens I've had come and go that the guitarist in the band consistantly wishes I still had, he mentioned it again the other night.
Cheers Rayman, it really is an excellent bass, but if Basskit Case can't get £400 for a Geddy, it really doesn't look good Karl.
17. quote name='Bassassin' date='Sep 2 2010, 09:25 PM' post='943963'] Bit dear for me - but I'm half tempted to say I want it just to see if some miserable, weasel-faced scrote will jump in & grab it first. Which reminds me - I must start that vintage Washburn thread in Porn... J.
18. A few nibbles but still here. For a few days it will be £375 posted (after funds clear) or £350 if you come and pick it up! I would rather a BassChatter got the benefit than it lining FeeBay's pockets. Would strongly consider a decent Japanese P, or P/J or Aerodyne. Thanks for looking, Karl.
19. Hello there, just a bit of advice really please. I have just put my old Trantec 1000 system (bought about '92) up for sale on the forum. It has clearly written on it WT Licence exempt, 175.000 mhz. Am I correct in assuming this wireless bass system is both legal and doesn't require a licence? I've not used it for 5 years (except 2 nights ago when I set it up to ensure it still works ok) and I am unlikely to use it again. Really just want to ensure it's ok as I have had no interest. Hope someone can help, Cheers, Karl.
20. All PM's replied to. Still here much to Gobzilla's chagrin Won't be going onto bay, she agrees, after I have told her how much it costs! Karl.
21. Hi folks. I bought this wireless system new in about '92 and I remember it cost quite a bit. It is in excellent condition. I have tried to photo all the info, but it's only a camera phone. I have not used this system for over 5 years and the gigs I do now, turn round too fast and you slice your nose on a symbal. I have had taxi firms come over it in the past! I dont know (despite what it says on the back of the reciever) if it is legal, licence exempt, or if you can use 175.000 mhz band, so please don't ask Please ask one of the forum experts. I do know, having set it up tonight, that it works fine, much to Gobzilla the wife's disgust. Looking for £25 plus £5 postage. If I sell it, I can get some flatties for my P. If I don't sell it, I will still get some flatties for my P, then put the wireless system away again Thank you for reading my drivel. (Edit, Hells Bells, there's a lot of I in that!) Karl.
22. Thars fantastic Dave, thanks very much Cheers, Karl.
23. Firstly what are 750s? Secondly I need advice as well please. I have a 70's re-issue Japanese P. Currently strung with Roto Swing, 45-105. I need to know if any flats have similar tension to these. I have no problem doing the intonation but I don't want to take the neck off to adjust the truss as I am just not confident I will do it without bollocking a screw thread or the wood. Yes, I know I'm a chicken/idiot. Any advice greatfully accepted, Cheers, Karl.
