1. Hello again wavey one. Putting my white American P up next week, if that goes in time I will be in touch. This bloody thing is haunting my dreams
2. Somebody buy this quick. I'm putting mine up soon and it will look expensive compared to this one. They are however superb amps.
3. Yup, get learning and get out there! Good luck and enjoy.
4. It's £400 in his other ad, but pictures ain't come through on that either. I had one of these in the 90's simple, powerful, well made basses.
5. One screw is missing from the neck plate, it's not the only one mate!
6. Was gone last night, so same question, anyone here?
7. Nothing to ad really, Lozz is just an A1 bloke. Great deal, great guy, thanks fella, cheers, Karl.
8. Thanks lads, Nibody came up with the 1st link, 2nd link is from the guy selling it, hope it works. If nothing else, info for posterior, oops, sorry, posterity http://www.stevieglasgow.com/yamaha_sb-30.html http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151238169444845&set=o.222981134445776&type=1&relevant_count=1&ref=nf
9. Guys, anybody know anything about Yamaha SB-30 basses. There is an absolutely gorgeous looking one for sale relatively close to me and he's asking for offers. I don't know if they go for £100 or £1000, can find bugger all on T'interweb, Found Yamaha catalogues back to 1980 but this series appears to have been long gone by then. He says its 1973, original case and it looks in great nick. It just looks so different and nicey. Any help/advice greatly accepted, cheers, Karl.
10. Gentlemen start your engines!! Sadly I'm out due to an incoming Schroeder 410 Oh forgot, you might want to change the HOLD bit on the ad Mr. Yamahabass
11. Bremen mailed me with just such a generous offer to pick it up and drop it off when he comes past in a fortnight. He's a star. Meanwhile, I have just got lucky and agreed a deal on a Schroeder 410BMF, so no punts on anything for several months now . Aye, right
12. Status Premium single ball all the time for me now.
13. Cheers Bob, loved the cab but got thrown a curve ball by Chris. On hold thanks, Karl.

Chris just offered to help me out above and beyond the call. Very kind you gent you, cheers, Karl.
15. Godin SD4 bass - rare! | eBay Godin seem to be quite well thought of, if I was closer I might just have had a punt.
16. There's a thread asking what you would do if you won £148 million. This would be part of my answer. Stunning.
17. Right, that's it, gloating as well. I shall visit you in the wee small hours and put a pint of maggots in your Y fronts mister!!! Enjoy lucky man !
18. Pm's replied. Chris, you could be described as a foul temptress if you were a woman . I only wanted to sell to get a particular cab that's up, but you have thrown me a curved ball that I am very strongly considering. Please be patient with me
19. Harumph! Thanks for saving me £450 LC. Seriously though, enjoy, I'm only jealous.
20.
and what I find odd is how it affects some models and not others. Fender stick up the prices and the secondhand prices on the USA models more or less stay the same, whereas secondhand mexican models shoot up from £200-300 to £400+ asking prices. Theres quite a nice looking MIM jazz for sale on here at the moment- and nice bass I would think it is- but a MIJ jazz is a fair bit cheaper! In other places people ask more for the japanese one than a secondhand USA..... mad! warwicks either are still dirt cheap, or at fairly pricy prices- always with the "would cost over £3500 new!!!"
Yup, it really is mad, but ultimately it's down to the same old, if it's what somebody is after and they have the loot................ Or alternatively, ask a daft price but don't be surprised if it doesn't sell.
21.
Dear readers I do believe that this story is going to have a happy ending
Not for all, boo hoo
22.
£15 parcelforce 48 hour service sorted
Yup, but he's saying not wanting to send it. And then, along comes LemonCello from the same city! Hey ho
23. Bought this as a stopgap whilst awaiting a Schroeder 410L coming up, as I want 10 inch speakers. Still waiting, however I have got a chance at something as high quality as the Schroeder, neo, with 10 inchers (steady ). So, it's in good nick apart from, 1. Scuffed corner pieces. 2. Previous owner had 2 strips of gaffer tape across the top, removal meant there are lines of residue left. I guess warm water, soap and elbow grease will remove the lines. I MAY! get round to it. 3. Handles slightly scuffed. What is it like? Stupidly light and powerful. Played a gig at the Station in Lytham. A bass chatter was right at the back 30 yards away and told me he could still feel the bass through the floor (cheers Tony). 800 watts, 4 ohms, hopefully link to spec Schroeder "Superior Sound" Cabinets Hopefully my usual crap photos. Brand new Roqsolid cover included. £375 collected from Wigan, £400 couriered to you after funds clear. Bank transfer, cleared cheque, no PAINPal sorry and UK only. Very welcome to come and try it. This may not be up for very long if the other goes, Cheers, Karl.
