Just done a deal with Lloyd, great comms, instant payment, decisive and a joy to deal with. Well recommended, enjoy Lloyd and all the best. Many thanks, Karl.
My first one had this fault, got it changed for another, it had the same fault. Changed the valve myself in the second one and it works fine now. The valve might just need re-seating every now and again as it works loose with vibration from travel (and sitting on top of a vibrating box all night). Mine developed the hum once more, with the new valve, a well aimed tap on the top is a quick fix during a gig, then open it up at home and tighten up the valve you should be rocking again. Just thought I'd point this out because the price is an absolute bargain for what seems like a very minor fault. And a great amp!
How about doing a thread in Repairs and Technical like Happy Jack's on Orange Bass Terror valve replacement? Probably be quite a few would be grateful. I don't have the problem with mine but I would like an idiot's guide to cahanging the valve on them, er, because I'm an idiot. Excellent amps though.

Many thanks ikay, food for thought. I've had a couple of the Attitude Ltd's with the DiMarzio's and they are certainly great pups.

First gig you went to - who was in the band?
Mahogany Rush as a first gig!! You RRRRROCK! Probably Paul Harwood on bass. I saw them at Port Vale football ground supporting Motorhead - Ozzy was on the bill with Randy Rhodes and Rudy Sarzo on guitar and bass respectively. My first was Gillan with John McCoy on bass, Bernie Torme on guitar, Colin Towns, keys, and Mick Underwood on drums. Support were two bands called Quartz and White Spirit, the latter having a young Janick Gers (now Iron Maiden) on guitar.
Whoa, my lot supported Janek when he was in White Spirit and we got a gig through him supporting Gillan as well. Me Ma still has the poster with White Spirit and us from Hartlepool Town Hall . My first was Quo, with Alan on bass, Darlington Civic Theater 1967, I was just turned 9. -
Good luck fella.

Dont know if anybody can help. 1995, one year run only, Yamaha Attitude Special, the cheaper one. I want to try and get a brown tortie plate made for this, so that's one thing. The bigger issue (yeah, really life threatening ) is the plastic cover for the neck woofer pick up. I know there is no chance of a tortie, but can anybody point me in the right direction for a black or chrome one please? Dimensions length 9cm/ 3.5 inch, width 5.4 cm/2.25 inch, depth 0.8cm/ 10/32's of an inch. Just to make it trickier it is hollow inside and has 4 screw holes, photos attached. Not much chance I know, but a man's gotta try . Cheers, Karl.

Put my P on Gumtree this morning and I've come back to 4 emails . Here's hoping.
-
Nowt wrong with advertising it elsewhere, I sold my last bass on Preloved, there was no interest on here. Certainly not me offering £550 Dave, until I saw that Gumtree ad I was going to offer £650. Even after seeing that ad I will still offer £600 plus postage. Sadly, to do that, I have to sell my USA Precision first and that may take a week or so. Being selfish, hopefully yours or Waveydays will still be around for a week or so yet. However, good luck regardless, cheers, Karl.

On No! Not Another "I've Quit the Band" Thread

Shame John, but, in cliche man mode, something will turn up. Good luck, Karl. -
We will do around 50 this year, 10 booked in for next year. Our excellent drummer does the bookings and boy is he tenacious. 4 of the gigs booked for next year are in places he has been trying to get into for 3 years.

This is only up whilst the 2 white Marcus Millers are up. If they go first this is withdrawn. As it says, it's the 2008 model which has high mass bridge, graphite rods, rolled fingerboard, string through bridge. Just been professionally set up and fret dressed as a couple of frets were too high. White, tortie plate, rosewood fretboard. Pics soonish. Good but not perfect condition. Looks immaculate from the front but there are a few tiny dinks, non through the wood. There are also some scrapes at the back of the top horn, don't know if they will photograph. £650 collected from Wigan, £675 couriered to you. Bank transfer or cleared cheque, sorry, no PAINPal and UK ONLY. Please see my feedback near the bottom. Fender gigbag included, anybody close enough please come and try. Cheers, Karl. Note to self, buy a camera tight wad! Will trade for a White Marcus Miller.

Cheers lads. Yeah, put him in recommended section a year or two back, he really is excellent. He has asked if he can have a look at my Yam Attitude as he's had a request to make a custom left handed one. I've gone through the spec on mine and a real one, dead chuffed to be asked to be honest. This white P was taken in a trade and I was going to flog it as I have serious Marcus Miller GAS. May not bother now .

So, bass been in with Ritchie Tomson, Wigan for a week. He is a maestro. Got the call to pick it up this morning. Goes in and I'm sure I heard mutterances about baboon fisted amateur bass players . One dual action truss rod tweek, one set up, a bit of hanging off the wall to let the graphite rods re-adjust, and one bit of fret dressing later, PERFECTA CHEESE . Asked the scary question, how much???? He calmly answered that as I almost single handedly keep him employed, £35. Cheers Ritchie, baboon man will undoubtedly see you soon. Karl. THANKS for all the sage advice chaps, I'm such a talentless wuss.
