1.
Are there any rock/metal players using Genz Benz amps or isn't it really suited to that sort of stuff?
The cover band I'm in do over 40 gigs a year (originally was to be no more than one a fortnight) we cover from Bad Co Can't Get Enough through to Iron Maiden Afraid to Shoot Strangers through to Metallica Am I Evil. My 6 does it no probs, against the rest of the band going through the PA (no PA woofers, I'm not allowed through it, but the bass drum is???)
2.
A kiddie from a band who were supporting us t'other day said to our guitarist, as he set up his shiny Blackstar half stack & dean guitar infront of our blokes battered old Laney combo & tatty squier strat (albeit an early American built one) "you make do with that old amp & copy, do you?" I'll let you guess who had the better sound & didn't spend the entire set fiddlin, a twiddling, squatting down listening & grimacing?!?!? ;-)
Oh boy, is THAT familiar!
3. I had Shuttle 6, sold it, waffled about with other amps in between, got another Shuttle 6. When I first turned up with the "Car radio" as I like to call it, the guitards were, "you are joking right?" Sound check, TURN IT DOWN!!!! It is the simplicity and out of the box sound that makes me smile. The weight is just a massive bonus. No amp GAS for me. Did I mention I was jealous of you Karl.
4. Can't believe this is still here, especially with that lovely maple board. And with a bolt on neck that can be shimmed!
5. I had a Sonic Blue one in the early eighties, made 73 think it was. Looked stunning, sounded stunning, played like a plank with strings. Paid £80 for it and sold it for about £150 about 1990.
6. Still gutted my van was off the road and I missed your Schroeder 21015 Olly. I bought the 1515L as a stopgap whilst waiting for a 410L to come up, but got to admit rather liking the thump of the 2 x 15.
7.
Good god that truly is a thing of beauty!
Oh yes!!!!
8. Thickening plot
9. Dear God, I wish I could sell my Precision
10. Surprisingly little interest in this bass. The link below is the previous owners ad (hope that's ok John, your photography is so much better than mine ever will be). These were before I put the Sheehan style fret markers on. SOLD : US Fender Precision - Black, Black, Maple Please note, the link with sold on it is from when I bought it. This bass is still currently for sale. The link to the previous owners thread is simply because his photos are so much better
11. Very nice. I've just lost out on the trade on the White one (complicated 3 way trade, 3rd man changed his mind). Might be an idea to let folk know what area you are from? Have a good luck bump, Karl.
12. Came across this (no innuendo Discreet ) by accident tonight. Just, WOW
13. Bump because I have just had a look at your Shuker 2012 custom P. I would just like to state implicitly I hate you . If it had a brown tortie plate I am afraid that would have been the final straw and I would have had to set the Exocet Wife-ile onto you. Good luck (again), Karl.

SOLD

Fantastic price, astounding this is still not sold.
15.
First question (well, only question) is a classic: Why is it a copy? Err, because it wasn't made by Fender, perhaps? Like I said above: Passing off p*sses me off.
Amen to that!
16.
Don't worry, apparently there's a bloke on eBay who is an expert self-taught luthier...
Seriously though, nice one Fender.
17. £1500/£1200 either way, get a grip pal
18. It's a cliche Al, but there are far too many people lacking basic civility today. Find out the address, go round in the wee small hours and put a pint of maggots through the letterbox. A weeks time the bluebottles will get him back for you . Find a band that deserves you. Karl.
19. Might be an idea to look at some of the other adverts on here to see the sort of details required. It may well stop you getting loads of questions. More than one person has said in the past that if a seller can't be bothered to put up decent details, a buyer can't be bothered with the detective work . Not being a git, just trying to help you maximise your advert. If you aren't sure about how to do anything, just ask and people will help. Welcome to a fantastic forum, Karl.
