1. Thomas dear boy, I wish to know more about your church. Surely this jazz is the temptation from Beelzebub?
2. Wow, cracking price. This is THE most powerful, wonderful sounding amp I have ever used. Good luck with the sale, somebody is going to be very pleased. Karl.
3. Lightweight head and cabs Lozz, way to go fella. Basses, different matter . For me the reality is I need 1 head, 1 cab and two basses. Failing on the basses bit! Spookily enough, gig last Friday, the realisation that despite everything, what I was using was plentiful and superb. Your Schroeder 410BMF, GB Shuttle 6, 17 year old Yam Att Special. Perfect sound, loads of vol to spare, 2 trips to the van. My Fenderbird was in it's case, just if I broke a string. Your realisation of gigging NEEDS is spot on. Good luck whichever way to go, you are a top dood!
4. All the time. Fri night, they just got on with enjoying themselves, one pair, sorry, lady, in particular . Saturday night, 3 pissed up twenty somethings. How many times do you have to say, "No, we don't and won't do Oasis"!
5. THE Fender Jazz
6.
Aren't JV squires quite sought after, blimey someone could get a bargain?
Yeah, the cynic in me thought a dodgy neck plate etc. After 5 pages of feedback, mainly toys, you may well be right oldslapper
7. PM's replied, thanks for all the interest again guys, cheers, Karl.
8. Hello Ash, hope you are ok. It's 8lb 10oz, so hardly basswood light, but a huge amount lighter than some original 70's jobs .
9. Still at 6 basses, still something has to go. This bass was sold but the buyer dropped out. Couple of months old Antigua Precision, unmarked, spec as per GAK in link below. Will not come with the hardcase but with a Warwick gigbag. http://www.gak.co.uk...CFcrItAodVhwAUA £420 collected from Wigan, £450 couriered after funds clear. Sorry, no PAINPal. Anybody welcome to come and try it out. UK only, sorry. Any questions welcomed, cheers, Karl. 10. Aww, shame, but have a bump
11. That is a glorious looking, practical workhorse. I'll play. Proposal. Lakland Darryl Jones, Skyline, 2008, Lakland/Hansen pups, Lake Placid Blue, matching headstock. Mirror plate on it (should have got brown tortie) plus original white plate. Levy's Lakland gigbag. Plus £150 to you. Meet at Buxton. ONLY issue, has some very slight dint's in back of neck. Caused by dopey git sound engineer knocking over a Precision with roundwounds on it. Front of the P bounced off the back of the neck of the Lakkie. You gotta look for the marks. Reading between the lines, you prefer wider nuts, but I had to ask. Good luck regardless, and bump. Karl. Edit. No the DJ is not for sale and won't be, just I really would like one of these, especially in natural.
12. A chap in Leeds was advertising a Hondo 11 bolt neck, got pulled Tues I think. Fire glow. If anybody is interested, pm me, I kept his email address. I can not speak for him, I don't know him so that would be up to a prospective buyer, just trying to help anybody with this particular strain of gas
13. Christ on a bike, just orgasmic
14. Tim mentioned twice (one for the old stagers!). Photos, description, flexibilty with price/trades/terms all help. Good luck.
15. Lovely bass. That bridge looks the same design as the bridge on the 85 Gibbo Explorer bass I had for donkeys (why did I ever sell that one ). Best bridge ever. Glad you live in a different time zone or I'd be in trouble again Good luck and bump!
16. What is the matter with you people, this was a life saving bass!. He was stranded in the Amazon, took the neck off for a paddle, used the body as a makeshift coracle and the strings to catch food. Bit of respect to this life saving bass! (some of the above may be "artistic license").
17. Chris, was about to put you in touch with thegreenman555 (Mark) but looks like you are sorted now. If not, PM me and I will sort you a link on a Faeces Book page. Good luck fella, Karl.
18. Cheers Steve. Love this bass, but I love so many basses . Got a chance a the Cataldo FenderBird, needed to raise some cash so a couple needed to go. It's on hold now anyway. Cheers, Karl.
19. Who has that saying, "Double bass, an Airfix kit waiting to happen!" ?
20.
He doesn't know what it is, but knows it's a collectors item. How does that work exactly???
Coz he's a twat.
21. My computer died on Monday night. Expensive. I have just found out my Antigua Precision, that was on hold, is no longer going to be bought. I need to sell this folks please
