1. Personally I would look elsewhere. I don't have a camera, just a phone, but I always take pictures. It would worry me if somebody can't be arsed to take photos. I think it is insulting to their potential buyers. Just me, Karl.
2. Is it that bad? Bump.
3. I was after a 410L, but the price with the flightcase is way out of my budget. Just out of curiosity, and for others looking, is this four front firing, or 2 front, 2 slant firing please? Bump. Karl.
4.
Is it defo a P-bass profile? Looks almost Jazz-like, though that could be camera angles causing that.
42 mm, not quite 50's width but very definitely Precision. Don't take any notice of my photos, I haven't got a clue . Thankfully my feedback helps a little. Now for sale only I'm afraid, just landed a higher vat bill than expected Cheers, Karl.
5. The blue one that is up has attracted a lot of interest. It started off at £850, however it is mint. Mine has a few chips and dints so I think £650 is more than fair. Yet virtually no interest? Please buy this so I don't have to put my Lakland DJ4 up or sale
6.
Ha...Yes. I bought a PA today so well and truly cleaned out! I've also just ordered a neck pup ash tray for the 'mist' just to kinda complete the look. I've given her a good clean, fretboard oil and raised the bridge pup which was completely flush with the body when I bought her. She 'plays' better than any of my other basses, quick neck and low buzz free action. I'd be very sorry to see her go! You've put me in a right quandary! LC
Mhw ha ha Bump.
7.
I've recently scored the wine red/rosewood version. Apparantly 150 were made, 45 got to Europe and 9 to the UK. The first 50 were signed by the VP quality control at the Corona plant (all of these stayed in the US I'm told). Nothing to say Fender won't do another run at a later date, LC
Good, so you will need to get some funds back by selling the Burgundy Mist then (thread hijack, but bump)
8.
Yes, 10 people have mislaid their case candy from their 50th Anniversary Jazz Basses, (it's easily done).......
9. Why on Earth is this still here? It looks fantastic with that blue and a maple board and Tom only does great 'uns. Bump.
10. We are waiting for pictures you know Cheers, Karl.
11. As you are unlikely to post this, it may help your sale if you let us know whereabouts you are. For example, I live in Wigan but if it's collection only and you live in Margate, I'm out. Welcome to Basschat and good luck with your sale, cheers, Karl.
12. Absolute bloody steal!!!
13.
got a nice 1982 JV Precision with extra jazz pu....wanna trade?
Many thanks, I know the JV's are very highly regarded, but UK only I'm afraid. And cheers Wooks79
14. Why would the Gibbo dive into a beck?
15. Would like to sell this. Change in circumstances, larger than expected VAT bill As a result, this Fenderbird has to reluctantly go . If this one doesn't go, it may have to be my DJ4 . Either way, before November 28th. Please be aware it has quite a few little dinks that have taken paint off, as well as some little dents that haven't taken paint off. Sorry, the photos are as good as my phone gets, in my hands The following link is from their website, the white one is the same as mine. They are about £1100+ to import http://cataldobasses.com/ Comes with hardcase, price . NOW £600 collected, £630 insured courier. Bank transfer or cleared cheque. Sorry, NO PAINPal and UK only. If somebody is desperate for this bass, but has no money, I MAY consider a trade with a Fender of around the same value, as I should be able to move it on quckly. PLEASE, nobody tempt me with a US Precision Deluxe, or I will be back to square one / Any questions please fire away. Please check my feedback, link near bottom of post. Cheers, Karl.
