1. I have listed this bass here last year, and despite considerable interest, I still have it, and am relisting to see if there are any newer takers for this amazing quality bass, which can go for twice my asking price. This is the passive 4 string Milan bass made in Coventry in the 90s. This is serial number M4 239, and is unusual in having a black gloss finish - most were natural finish. The 2 pickups are powerful with the push-pull tone control coiltapping the neck pickup. For a bass of this age it is in excellent condition. The only noticeable defect is the chip on the headstock - see the picture. The bass has the original Eggle/Levy gig bag. Grab a chance to get a hand built bass at a fraction of the normal price. The bass is available to view in Cambridge by agreement. Message me with any queries [sharedmedia=core:attachments:116193] [sharedmedia=core:attachments:116192] [sharedmedia=core:attachments:116191] [sharedmedia=core:attachments:116190] [sharedmedia=core:attachments:116189]
2. After all this time this bass is still for sale - maybe I will re advertise here to see if any new takers.
3. I have an all black passive Milan in great condition which I used for some years, but have now decided to sell. If you are interested it is in Cambridge and you are welcome to try it out. I can email photos if you are interested.
4. Do you still have the cables? I could use a 12 m plus a 6m 4 core, but I can get new for around £50, so would go £50 cash collected if you are still in Cambridge.
5. Mike bought my old Aria Sinsonido from me. He was a breeze to deal with and kept me informed at all times. Look after my old friend!
6. Sold. Sad to see it go but cannot keep everything.
7. Sold pending payment. Thanks for all your interest.
8. For sale is my AX10B pedal. It is an easy to use pedal with built in tuner, effects and amp models. I bought this a few years ago, used it a few times and have not used it since. It is unmarked and complete in all respects. I have the original box (slightly worn) and have a wooden case which I made to take to gigs. A buyer could have either or even both (although this would be rather bulky) Available from Cambridge. Happy to post. Photo to follow Following copied from the Korg website; -Eleven amp modeling sounds generated by "REMS," in a compact body - 26 carefully-selected standard effects delivering a wide range of tonal variation - 40 preset programs covering all musical styles, plus 40 user programs for your own editing - Available in two models; the AX10G for guitar and the AX10B for bass. - Expression pedal for realtime control - Knob-based interface for intuitively creative control, and an easily-understandable panel layout - Tap switch for easy setting of delay time etc. - AMP/LINE select switch for connection to amp, mixer, MTR, or any other destination - Built-in Chromatic Auto Tuner with mute function - Compact design that fits into the pocket of your guitar case for easy carrying between stage, studio, or anywhere - Two-way power supply; runs on battery or AC adaptor - Silver body and knobs with a cool design that projects a sense of solidity The AX10G/10B join the Toneworks lineup of multi-effect units, with a wide variety of realistic modeling effects that use Korg's amazing "REMS" modeling technology acclaimed around the world. In a compact body it delivers a great selection of effects, and with intuitive controls and an expression pedal for realtime control it's ideal for live performance. With a cool silver chassis, powerful effects, and extremely flexible operation, these are the ideal compact multi-effect units for producing virtually any guitar/bass sound.
9. Sorry for,the confusion. Correct price is £400 and this post contains photos and is the most recent, and replaces this one. 10. I have reworked the most recent posting at http://basschat.co.uk/topic/184718-eggle-milan-iv-for-sale-price-reduced-l400/page__gopid__1778907#entry1778907 This now has pictures and replaces this posting. Once again apologies
11. Here are the photos I was trying to add. Sorry if I have been confusing. The 3rd photo shows the surface chip on the side of the headstock. Otherwise it is in pretty perfect condition.
12. OK I am a bit new to this. I need to work out how to delete the old posts. The most recent posting should be the one. I have reduced the price to £400. It is a great bass, but I have too many and my Musicman Stingray. I am sorry I have confused anyone.does everything I need. I'll try to get the old posts deleted/archived
13. This bass from the "Coventry" period of the Eggle guitar company in the early 1990s. This is in excellent condition and all original. I used it for light gigging for some years, and has been one of my spares for recent years since I got my MM Stingray. They were not made in huge numbers, and most were the active model. This is the passive version, which is, I understand the preferred version, but I have never played the active version. Most examples of the Milan seem to be natural. This one is all black. Clearly a bass of this age shows the odd mark, but looks amazing. The only damage is a chip out of the headstock as shown in the photos. The original gig bag is included in the sale. Bass available to view/try in Cambridge
