I've never been to any bass shop in Bristol, however, I did recently buy a new Spector from Bristol Reverb, by phone. I called the shop and initially spoke to a guy called Ben, who gave me details on what was available. I called back 10 minutes later this time speaking to Joe who completed the transaction and said that he would call back in ten minutes to confirm that everything had gone through, he also explained that as it was now 5:30 PM the bass would be sent next day. He called again the following day (Thursday) to confirm that bass was packaged and ready to go and checked that there would be someone home on the Friday to receive it, also explained that they don't like to sent the receipt along with an expensive bass and that it would be sent separately.
Bass arrived on Friday in perfect condition and I got a call on Saturday from Joe to confirm that it had arrived safe and well and that I was happy etc. On Monday the receipt arrived in the post.
What more can you ask for in terms of communication and customer service ?
