1. Hey Phil - my near neighbour ! Thats some cv you have there ! I haven't contacted you through Basschat before, though it was me who bought the 3 EBS pedals and the pedal board from you, when you first signed up(using the phone number you included)
2.
Thanks Guys My concerns answered in less the half-an-hour. I will get you both a beer if I ever meet you. Now I can go and spank my plank & see what this amp can do. Brendan
The MK500 can do a hell of a lot IMO. They were generally a bit ignored I feel, and they do take a little bit of time to get to grips with with settings. In hindsight I don't think I had the cab to do it justice and would loved to have matched it with some on the cabs I subsequently had. The EPI UL310 to name just one P
3.
Dear all The driver in my Epifani PS112 cab has died
Was it death by 'natural causes' Gareth ? Can't have been very old. P
4. Yep, I used to own one and yes, it's an always fan P
Hi Folks, A quick question for anyone with an Ashdown MK500 (or probably any 575w Ashdown). Is it normal for the cooling fans to be on all the time? (come on at start-up & stay on) Thanks Brendan
6. Think Dr Dave is/has been on the look out for one of these - right part of the country for him as well P
7. Looking good Ben, be interested to hear how it performs in a gig p
8. Don't follow Musicman prices closely, though have always had the perception that they hold their value better that most other basses. A quick look at GAK showes a new 'Ray available for £949 - and they are frequently offered on hear for up to £850 ( £750 being common) far lower depreciation than you see for most other readily available basses P
9. Called in to see mr Sibs yesterday and collect a kaoss pad. Everyting was as described and I would be happy to buy from again anytime. Cheers Stu, Paul
10. Well there's not a lot to fall through on a recycle thingy, short of Wayne sending the system back to me. Interest noted nonetheless P
11. Sold and collected by Mr McRuiz67 - Good to meet you Mike, P
12. Oops ! though you were asking if anyone getting odd private MASSAGE P
13. I just recently bought a pc with a q6600 (quad-core) and it runs like a whippet. If the the faster processors are available in the machine you want and there's not a lot of difference in price, then get it. Just be aware that you usually pay quiet a premium for the latest version, meaning that it's not always value for money. If you going to buy Vista or 64 bit operating system just make shure that whatever software you intent to run is supported. I'm thinking of DAW software here. P

19.
But if into the hardware only approach, apart from the SR-16 etc , the Akai / Roger Linn kit has to be worth a look but it ain't cheap.
I got one of these last week - Alesis Performance Pad - http://www.dv247.com/invt/46927/ it's the Alesis SR16 drum machine plus the pads build on top. great fun - its fast becoming a family entertainment center ! I just leave it plugged in to an old Peavey Microbass practice amp.... http://www.pcpro.co.uk/buyer/reviews/6236/...ve-dtt2200.html Runs off the Creative 5.1 sound card, though seems to work fine with other inputs. 23. Have to agree Clarky - I've been looking to buy studio monitors recently and the price they were reaching on eBay was always highter than I though reasonable, I ended up buying new as didn't think the discount was enough on eBay. Bought a GK MB150 combo odd the 'Bay, on Sunday and had to pay more than expected to get it ( that is, i've seen them go for quite a bit less on Basschat in the past) P
24. What's the new cab your using Al ? P
It sounds fine at bedroom volume but I won't get chance to put some serious welly through it until Saturday. The other lads think it was a monitor issue - I hope so.
