1. As new, I just bought it but something else has come up that I'd like. I don't have the box anymore , but it'll be well wrapped up for shipping. £70 including postage.
2. This is a mint condition bass bought from this site a few months ago. Black with a black scratchplate and a nice dark coloured rosewood fingerboard. All original electronics, pickups and hardware. No case but I have a Levy's Ernie Ball gigbag that can go with it. I'd like to trade it for either a CIJ or USA 70's Jazz bass, preferably either sunburst or Olympic white with a maple board and blocks/binding. Or Fretless Musicman Stingray 5 string. Photos to follow soon !
3. Transcribed in Bassplayer magazine the other month.
4. I'm a massive fan of Incognito, they've had some great bass players over the years. I think probably Julian Crampton's my favourite.
5. I don't see where the 'going through the motions' thing comes from. I absolutely love playing different styles of music, whether it's rock, jazz or country I always give 100% to the music. The key word there is 'MUSIC', I play music I don't care about the genre. I think that too many people have a 'hang-up' about genres and styles, they like to 'pigeon hole' stuff. What everyone ultimately plays is is music. Have a look here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpSbe8IxH9Y...feature=related Will Lee never just goes through the motions, he makes everything groove. Here's Janek Gwizdala, who's a jazz cat playing with V V Brown, he's definitely giving 100% http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZlWDzFbf6c
6. I've ordered one from these people here - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/vanquishguitars2007?_rdc=1 They seem very helpful, and give free next day delivery too !
7.
I can't be any help on this one, but if ever buy another effect pedal for bass, this will very likely be it! So that's two of us watching for replies...
I emailed them earlier asking for some info, they got back to me almost straight away. Not bad considering it's a Sunday.
8. You've got to love the name, I do anyway. Anyone tried one ? How do they compare with the EBS Dynacomp and the Aguilar TLC ?

10. I've never really been much of a Precision bass fan, but saying that I've never really spent a lot of time with a good one. However I've just bought the Rufus/Chaka Khan album 'Stomping at the Savoy', featuring Bobby Watson on bass. The liner notes show him playing a P bass. The bass sound is great, so a nice P bass is possibly mext on my list opf basses to buy.
11. Anyone want an Aguilar footswitch for an AG500 ? £25 Posted.

13.
I think you can usually tell when a musician doesn't really like the music they're playing. If you're playing music that you wouldn't actually listen to in your own time, it's obvious. Over the years I have played in bands that span many different genres but in each case it's been music that I like a lot. I couldn't do a Top 40 band or a country band or a rock band because my heart wouldn't be in it. So for me it's not a case of "stylistic or versatile", it's more a case of soul or no soul.
I play music .
14. I totally agree with you. If you look at my Myspace page you'll see most of my top 10 'friends' are with a few exceptions versatile session or freelance players. I play everything from jazz to rock to funk to country and western. I'm playing on a cruise ship from next week, so I guess that'll be playing everything from ballroom dance music to 60's/70's party music !
