EB don't allow any of the US dealers to export their (new) basses. Bass Central will tell you the same if you ask ( I have in the past) P

Sold a P bass to Deep Thought and it was as easy a transaction as you could get. Good communication, fast paymant etc. Good man to deal with... P

Seems to me that the downside to this easy going returns policy is that there are a lot of returned goods in circulation. I bough a pair of Quik Lok monitor stands from them recently and it was clear that they had been used before, there were scratches around each of the screw holes and small dents where they had been overtightned. Didn't matter too much as, they were just stands and the areas weren't visible once assembled. One customers returned item is another’s 'new' item P

Great basses they are - have only owned the Skyline versions myself, a Daryl Jones and a Bob Glaug and they are both excellent. The US models are particulary highly rated - no doubt there will be a few owners along soon to give you more info P

I ordered two sets of DR Hi-Beams strings for my new Spector 5, from Strings and Beyond, last Wednesday at 9:00 PM. I received an email an hour later telling me that they had been dispatched. They dropped through the letter box this morning (Tuesday). The cost for 2 sets of 5 strings DR's was $54.98 + $ 14.95 total $ 69.93 and my account was debited £38.59 That's £ 19.30 a set delivered - chepest I could get them in UK was £35 They included a complementary Dean Markley polishing cloth.
