I have an annual subscription to Bass Guitar Magazine and for the last few issue thay have taken to sending me two copies. One arrived on Monday and the second on Wednesday. I was at the Mansons Guitar Show(SW guitar Show) about six weeks ago and told the mag subscription people there about it and they said they would sort out the duplicates. Obviously made no difference as I'm still getting two copies Anybody else get two copies ? I now have a three spare copies available and would quite happily pass them on to a Basschatter

I'm a fan of Hi-Beam too, I have ordered from these guys in the past - though with todays fx rate it may not be so attractive http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...tringsandbeyond P
Only the 6 not the 3 Here's a pic of the back panel, you should be able to see the red switch that flicks between voltages:
If you are considering a GB Shuttle 6, do check the cost in the US ( and the sales tax) and the fx rate - you can buy a new Shuttle 6 in the UK for £450 delivered and have the full 3 year warranty P
It's about 25 miles, but Coda music in Luton has basses - quite a lot of Warwicks.
If your going to Luton, you may as well get over to Hithin - Machinehead have some nice basses and amps http://machinehead.co.uk/index.php/cPath/2...1srtgu9230j1cb4
The thing is, I had never seen The Sopranos until recently. I'm now up to season 2 episode 4 in the box set. Isn't it great? And I think I'm in love with Tony's therapist!
I was a big fan too - it was one of the very few TV programs that I would make a point of catching. Was disappointed when it ended and never did find anything to replace it with in my 'must watch category' As you’re only into the second series you have plenty more to enjoy

Gwil, What GK combo do you have ? If its a MB150 and you are looking to sell it,I would recommend that you put it on eBay. I had a MB150S for sale here at £320 for a few weeks, without much interest. I put it on eBay and there were 46 peeps watching it within a couple of days and it sold for £401. A 150E with a case went for over £500 recently. P
I spent a bit of time on the PRS stand and Bass zone set up by Mansons I was really taken by a Lakland 55-01 and came very close to buying one at a really good price.
Yep, Mansons had some gems on that Bass Zone stand - nice Aguilar DB750 rig as well as an Eden rig and a an SWR Readhead with a Marcus Miller pre-amp on top. Some nice basses too - 4 or 5 Pedulla, a couple of Zons a few Laklands along with some 'Rays and Warwicks. Thought Fender were most generous giving away their calenders wich had a custom axe photo for each month - why it even included a p bass. That was until I realised they were 2008 calendars ! Still, good for November/December
Just \ bait more to add on the proceedings In terms of performances / seminars I really only was intending to attend the two bass related ones but ended up seeing the one before because they were running late. Andy Manson (brother of Hugh Manson of Manson guitars fame) builds acoustic instruments mostly and he played this amazing guitar / sculpture together with a guy from the states who had come over to pick up an acoustic Andy had made for him.
I caught this performance for the same reason - had turned up to see Mr. Clayton's show Can't say I cared much for the strumming mermaid and bass/guitar thingy - thought Andy Manson is no doubt a master luthier - was refreshing when Stuart Clayton's seminar started and he came out all LEDs blazing, slapping out Mr. Pink on a GB Bass !
I wish I could have stuck around longer and met some of you chaps, but I had to get back to reclaim my daughter from my parents who'd had her overnight-besides by that time I'd run out of dosh!
Mike, think you had probably left by the time I arrived - pity as would have liked to have said hi
Hmmm. I wouldn't even consider trying to get into The Gallery with a wheelchair.
I'm not so sure that you couldn't get a chair into the Gallery - the upper level that is, there's a number of steps to the lower level, however, you could always take a bass up to the upper level to play. There's plenty of basses and amps on the upper level anyway. Maybe call Alex and check it out. If your going to be in Camden anyway...... P -
