Looking good Ben, be interested to hear how it performs in a gig p

Don't follow Musicman prices closely, though have always had the perception that they hold their value better that most other basses. A quick look at GAK showes a new 'Ray available for £949 - and they are frequently offered on hear for up to £850 ( £750 being common) far lower depreciation than you see for most other readily available basses P

Called in to see mr Sibs yesterday and collect a kaoss pad. Everyting was as described and I would be happy to buy from again anytime. Cheers Stu, Paul

Well there's not a lot to fall through on a recycle thingy, short of Wayne sending the system back to me. Interest noted nonetheless P

Oops ! though you were asking if anyone getting odd private MASSAGE P

I just recently bought a pc with a q6600 (quad-core) and it runs like a whippet. If the the faster processors are available in the machine you want and there's not a lot of difference in price, then get it. Just be aware that you usually pay quiet a premium for the latest version, meaning that it's not always value for money. If you going to buy Vista or 64 bit operating system just make shure that whatever software you intent to run is supported. I'm thinking of DAW software here. P
But if into the hardware only approach, apart from the SR-16 etc , the Akai / Roger Linn kit has to be worth a look but it ain't cheap.
I got one of these last week - Alesis Performance Pad - http://www.dv247.com/invt/46927/ it's the Alesis SR16 drum machine plus the pads build on top. great fun - its fast becoming a family entertainment center ! I just leave it plugged in to an old Peavey Microbass practice amp.... Have to agree Clarky - I've been looking to buy studio monitors recently and the price they were reaching on eBay was always highter than I though reasonable, I ended up buying new as didn't think the discount was enough on eBay. Bought a GK MB150 combo odd the 'Bay, on Sunday and had to pay more than expected to get it ( that is, i've seen them go for quite a bit less on Basschat in the past) P

What's the new cab your using Al ? P
It sounds fine at bedroom volume but I won't get chance to put some serious welly through it until Saturday. The other lads think it was a monitor issue - I hope so.
I may be wrong, though I don't think there is one. I believe that the Gallery or anyone else selling them, orders them direct from Epifani in the US as required. P
I’ve done a bit of google-ing and I can’t find anywhere that sells Epifani cabs in the UK. I took a look at the list of international dealers on the Epifani websh*te and there’s no one listed as a UK dealer?!?! Where the hell are you guys buying your Epifani cabs from?! (I’m guessing a couple of London shops must stock them?) OR…to save me some hassle, does anyone have a UL310 they would like to sell me or trade for an SVT-410HLF?
Well you got that sorted out quickly - even if you never play a note, it looks great in the corner P

Hiring a bass - anyone know where from ?.
Platypus replied to 6stringbassist's topic in EUB and Double Bass
As Kev posted this in the Double Bass/EUB forum I don't think the 'cheap Fender copy for ebay' is a runner.... P
Buy a cheap Fender copy from Ebay - if it's under £50 you'll probably be able to sell it on for the same money.
-
