1. He bought Kiwi's Ken Smith fretless 5 last year, from the Gallery. I think he then asked them to refret it not much help I know...
2. This is a seriously good cab and I don't think you could tell it from a new one tbh. Nice guy to deal with too...
3. Jake bought a Shuttle 6 from me recently and was as easy to deal with as he was last time we dealt. Money transfered stright away etc.
4. I sold a Guvnor on eBay last year and it went for £85...
5. And the Bass Merchant opens on Sundays too.....
6.
I'm interested in the Puma 112 combo. Can't find a UK price ?
Give Darren at the Bass Merchant a call. He has already sold some Tecamp heads to Basschatters
7.
I may well take these. Just waiting on a reply from a friend to check he's around on that date. Should know within the next hour or so......
Mate, sorry someone just BIN'd them on eBay at 18:00. Not much I can do about that - would rather have sold them to a basschatter... Tonights gig was cancelled at 5PM due to illness. A guy who had tickets for tonight, then jumped in and bought these ones
8.
[offtopic moment] My kids bought me Horace Panter's "Ska'd For Life" book for my birthday last month. It's a great read, fascinating stuff. [/offtopic moment]
Reading that myself at the moment...
9.
BTW I hope Platypus doesn't mind us bumping his thread.
Ha, no problem - have been enjoying the stories, tbh
10. Had a quick paly on this bass a while back and all I can say is its stunning and an absolute bargain at that price, what with the ACG preamp upgrade. Come to think of it, it's a bargain without any of the upgrades...
11. <<<These tickets just sold on eBay>>>> I have 3 tickets for the Specials at Brixton Academy on Tuesday 12 may 2009. I can't attend and will sell for £35 each or £95 for the three. (cost me £127 with fees and poatage) Tickets are for the Circle unreserved I'll include Next Day Recorded postage in the price, or you can collect from Harrow Middx or Windsor Berks I've also listed these on eBay for a slightly highter price
12. Hadn't realised that the Bass Merchant were handling Tecamp before talking to Flanker. I'll look out for them next time I'm over there.
13. It's true what they say: Flanker, he good guy
14. I've dealt with Machinehead sereral times over the last five years and they've always been spot on. I'd always be happy to shop there, of course as others have said, take a trip over there and try it out. They have good demo space and some decent amps
15.
This will be gone in a flash I'm sure Did you decide the Aguilar route wasnt for you then Paul?
Hi Jas, I was running a Genz Benz Shuttle 6 with the db112 and was considering adding a second cab and possibly swapping out the head for a AG500. However, I was offered a Genz 212 Neox here on Basschat and have decided to pair this with my shuttle. I was an easier option and I'm quite happy with the result
16. <<< Now Sold >>> Aguilar DB112 bass cab for sale. This is in mint condition and looks like new. The clour is green or 'Monster Green' as Aguilar call it. 8 Ohm, includes tweeter This will be a cash on collection sale, I'm based in Harrow Middx or you could collect from Windsor Berks, where I work. I will get some pics up later £250

Bought a bass from Alex today and can recommend him to anyone here. Bass was as described - possibly even better than described ! P
20.
Anyone know where to try one in the UK ?.
I don't believe you can - I emailed Rosetti the UK Distriburers with the same question and they basically said I'de have to order one through a dealer - they were unable to direct me to a dealer that would have one in stock. They also quoted a price of £999 for the Puma 500 - they cost £760 ordered from Germany - Musik-Produktiv oprate a 30 day return policy AFAIK....... FEELGOOD

I sold a Stingray to 'Feelgood' today in what was an easy and trouble free transaction. Cheers Adam!
22.
Yes I like what I'm hearing. Just a matter of selling a few bits and checking out prices. Best prices I've seen were Musik Produktiv. Are they OK to deal with? (By the way D I'll be looking out for the Puma ad)
Never used Musik Productiv myself, though I believe that they have a good rep and are well established etc. They also operate a return policy similar to Thoman, think its 30 days though check their terms and conditions on the web.
23. I've been keeping a keen eye on this site - just waiting for them to finish the site and list the full specs options etc.....
24. I had Sims make me a tort plate for my Bob Glaub last year. Had to sent the old one to them which left me without a bass for the two and a half weeks it took for them to make it (it was over Easter holiday). Cost me £55 including postage
