2.
I currently have severe GAS for a Sterling 5. Put my mind at rest and tell me why are you selling?
Hi Dave, Just got a couple of basses more than I need and also have a '91 Stingray that I intend to keep.
  3.
Is it a cash sale only, or would you trade for another bass?
Yes, just looking for a cash sale on this one..
  4.
Bloomin Eck mate..... that's nice !!
Could coax a fella out of self imposed exile...
  5. Now SOLD and collected 2008 Limited Edition Musicman Sterling HH in Sequoia Gold. Included in the sale is the Musicman hard case in fake lizard skin. Its nicely setup with low action and is quite light at 8.8 Lbs. The combination of twin MM Humbuckers, 5 way pickup selector and 3 band eq make for an extremely versatile bass. The bass really looks like new and the only blemish and it is a very minor one, is a small hairline crack in the polyester clear coat just by the battery compartment. It is just in the polyester and you do have to look hard to see it. The bass Gallery is listing these at £1600 new - this one is for sale at £875. I'm based in Harrow Middx any trial welcome there or you could collect from Windsor berks. Can send by courier for £25
  6. Think you should include a price for this P
  7.
I wanted this bass from the first time I saw a picture of it on the Alleva stand at Namm. It's taken some time but it was worth the wait - beautiful bass.
I wondered if you'd gone for it yet, Steve, I had a play on this bass a couple of weeks back, at the Bass Merchant, wonderful bass. Knew it had your name on it, though
  8.
Yes I've read that Al thanks, I'm just wondering if anyone has pulled the trigger on one yet and gigged it.
Whynot was due to get one recently and was about to take it to either a gig or band practice - can't remember which. He might pick up on this thread later....
  9. Wicked looking 'Ray you have there..
  10. Nice ! - I have exact same bass and finish etc. My serial number is 10 lower than yours and about 2 months older!
  11.
.....Except for one 15-year old who wrote me that he didn't have the total amount but that he was going to pick fruit during July to be able to buy my bass and if I wanted to put it aside for him I really admired his willingness to work for it and I gave him priority though there were other buyers. It hangs on the wall ready for him.
Better check the long range weather forecast

  15.
thanks for those links especially the concert, that was amazing, watched the whole thing! I have been lusting over Alleva for a long time now and desperately want one even if its the no frills model. I suppose there is probably not a lot o difference between one of these and any other boutique jazz but I just think they are by far the prettiest and I love the headstock. I would love to get down to the bass merchant and try one.
I spent A good chunk of Sunday afternoon at the Bass Merchant playing the LG5 jazz and also the P bass 5 string model. I luv 'em. Bass Guitar Magazine have had the LG5 for review and that should be in the the next edition.
  16. Don't know what to suggest Marcus - still reeling from your list of previous basses P

  18.
FREE EBS octabass pedal BUMP. This must go!
This WILL go - someones gonna grab that bargin soon, I bet

    Compressor

Basscentre always seem to have the lowest prices for EBS pedals. Something to look out for - the newest range of pedays have true bypass - the previous ones didn't. Look for the True Bypass stamped on the top, as in this one: http://www.bass.se/2007/multicomp.htm
Opps not that great then. In the morning im going to PMT southend, they have an ashdown duel comp, thats just £49 so will see what thats like. Has anyone got one? I will start another tread i think with that question. Failling that the ebs. For recording, the one on my roland bass cube is great, but just looking for a live box really. Thanks, GP.
20.
Just ordered a couple of Tecamp cabs so am letting this go.
Which one's have you ordered? I Just picked up a PUMA1000 head at the weekend - Tecamp gear rocks
