  1. Mmmm... I'm alrightish with the headstock... more so than headless and overhanging tuners... Back looks real nice, presume front is similar with the contrasting woods on the neck thru... I'd re profile the headstock, curving the sides, and at the hook on the side... with a 'bottle opener' look... to mimic the edges and 'bottle opener' hook at the top on a Rick... Homage and Lineage... Maybe have a go before lopping it's head off? Headless is OK on modern stuff, but would be a shame with that body n neck. Just my 2p
  2. Nice... Great Summer Build Project! If the wood looks sounds good on stain n oil. Got an 'AliBacker' Rickenfaker made for fun... came in at £165 delivered 0after a negotiated partial refund due to build issues... and £15 on a replacement bridge just got to sort the bridge n saddle height... bit of a faff as thru neck and the Rick-ish bridge overhung the body a little...
  3. Check at the jack socket that the center pin is not making contact with the shield that is grounded... when the jack is inserted...
  4. Not Fade Away (Glid Forever) - Steve Hillage
  5. How about a bit of 0.6 veneer down the edges... or all the way around the heel and sides, should snug it up.
  6. Best of everything... Plain Fretboard Dot Indicators for 3 5 7 9 12 etc for position... And lines where the fret would be... Play on the lines...
  7. Same with the SR's and the Vox-Amp type plugs... make a short 12" plug to socket lead and then fix the Tx to the strap... a lot less likely to get a knock and broken...
  8. You can put it back to 'normal' by downloading the latest firmware v2.1... https://zoomcorp.com/documents/102/MS-60B_v2.10_Win_E_0.zip Might not be able to restore the firmware in ToneLib or Zoom GuitarLab as it will see the existing loaded firmware on connection...
  9. Reverb... i don't want to see it, or hear it in the first place, never mind having it hanging on for extra! In honesty, you might not hear the difference... but i don't want to find out...
  10. Been Caught Stealing - Janes Addiction
  11. Ibby RDGR MM 'n J... @ £50! https://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-instrument/ibanez-bass-guitar-rdgr-roadgear-wx40960-passive/1434027288 Dunno if still available, but would be mine if i was closer...
  12. ^ Unfortunatly paper thin 0.6mm... @Random Guitarist 'sorted me right out matey' with a bit of 2mm... enough for a couple of tries... Try #1 wasnt quite wide enough for the 'd' at the end of the logo... Reprofiled try #2 tommorow...
  13. Replacement Bridge... Lookin more 4004 May need to shim under the bridge to stop the "Super Elevation' of the saddles.
  14. Possibly the difference between a musician and a player... much respect. Would love to be able to play (and understand...) music rather than play a tune.
  15. Luverly neck 'n fretboard colour... Dimazio's in 70's Cream?
  16. ^ and on a nice conforming sponge, custom made for the job...
  17. So the feather and scale like tiers get sanded away in to a contour? I ratgher liked them, thought they looked stunning! Or is it just down to the angle and lighting?
  18. Are you saying it wont run on teh 2x AA batteries? - have you checked/changed teh set up for teh type of Batt used? The 9v socket for external power would just be to keep to a standard, same as 5v for USB... For 9v pedal thingies that don't have internal batteries - when a separate supply doesn't make sense - i have ordered some 9v Batt Snap to centre Neg plugs from Ali Express... simple! and may help it run longer / or as simple back up as others may have a 9v for other effects etc.
