Fancied a change...
My other basses are wearing Adagio flats. (Bitsa P, Bitsa J, Acoustic) and my new-to-me Ibby SR300E has Dunlop SS rounds on...
So swapped the Adagio flats on my SR600 back to the Rotosound Solo 55 Pressure Wounds kindly gifted to me by @Old Man Riva 2 years or so ago.
Nice, bit of brightness back but still warm.
A change about might just stem the urge for something new £€$
I'm not in the market... Just love the look!
I'm sure they are done properly, from previous pics i've seen...
The Harley B 51 changed and got a hole under the guard for wiring, earlier ones didn't.
Perfection... bloody should be with the amount or re-recoding and overdubs...
Remember when the gig was on Sky Arts... about time it got a re-run... Classic.
My Dream Mash Up!..
SR with Passive Single P
Pebble Body 'n Slender Neck, Jazz Nut... Single P Hole (Ha Ha!) Pickup can than be swapped out to ya hearts content...
@Smanth makes sense after a good look... now ya know what they are all about,
Howz about the Ibby SR Mikro... slightly different scale...
Keep em peeled on Gumtree or the 'bay.
@gafbass02 4 wires need linking with 2 pins for passive non pre... gonna see if i've got some electrical connector pins in the garage tomorrow...
and i recon if you unplug the tap switch connector it will be just plain bucker...
If any one is after a 4 wire Split P that can do the Series / Parallel Switching thing... especially for a Dual P
Found this while a googlin' - used to sell on the bay, now on reverb...
