  1. Maida Vale Stacks... DiMarzio Twin Coils Or Entwistle's - Mine are Ceramics, Go Neo's if ya wanna go Bonkers on a Budget. And some Kent Armstrong Vintage Hot lurking...
  2. Maybe a Tonerider Duke? https://tonerider.com/products/the-duke-jazz
  3. What is the finish name, maybe there is an actual paint code for the colour, like cars etc... Good Automotive Spray shop nearby that might be able to 'read' the paint with a machine? - I'd be having a look at car paint touch up pens as the best colour match, at the most cost effective cover up.
  4. Something that makes them want to pick it up, if thats pink, or one with skulls on... often the smaller sizes are still quite deep. How about a small encore type electric? Or a diddy Strat Squier or Harley B type Might be a little easier to fret and get a note to sound and keep the momentum.
  5. Are you gonna go my way? - Lenny Kavitz
  6. Nurse Rozetta - Alice Cooper
  7. No Shared patches or recommended settings in the TonLib forum page?
  8. Jazz Nut Neck from the bay... Nice neck, they tend to be a flatter 12" rather than 9" Ended up getting a fair refund as the Side Dots at the 9th and 12th had been drilled wrong, filled, and re-drilled Also a Jazz Nut Neck from Twin--Cam on the bay
  9. Love the tuners... Black Guard, or maybe something lairy such as purple pearl? Large Jazz Knob for Vol, Small Jazz Knob for tone... Sorted
  10. (Eider)Down Down - Quo
  11. What sort of cost are you thinking? How about one of these https://www.thomann.co.uk/harley_benton_bass_guitar_kit_mb_style.htm
  12. Couple of years back i got a Custom P Body made... Enjoyed the whole Bitsa Experience, so got a custom J Body made... Both are Paulowina for cost, it is a soft wood for dinks. Now defunct or rebranded Luthiers Warehouse / Luthiers Crafts, via the Bay. Got a Jazz Neck from Twin--Cam on the bay. There is a company Wild Rainbow Music on the bay, might be worth dropping them a line.
  13. From the packaging i suspect Olympia, similar to Adagio 45-100 Std Tension https://www.thomann.co.uk/harley_benton_hqs_bass_45_100_flatwound.htm

  17. I tried dipping a Custom Jazz Body a while back... too cold, not enough surface area? Dunno. Went too snotty and skin, so got sanded back to natural.
  18. Nice, budget bitsa's are always fun. Just goes to show what an Ali Express neck and a Tone rider pup can give you.
  19. Whats local to you on Faceache Market? I scored a little Eden 8 for £20ish Might see a Baby Rumble 15... Orange Crush, After Eight or som such. Any Loft Find Carpet Covered Combo can be given a Freshen-Up with a Washing up brush and a jumper de-bobbler.
  20. Factory Re-set is always an option. Have you seen and used the ToneLib and Zoom Software? I had a B1 Four and B1 XFour, but sold them for the older B1on and B1Xon, which only works with ToneLib. Good thing is they can be USB powered - so a PowerBank or Phone Charger can do the do. I Removed all the Factory Pre-sets, And have Banks for a different main Sound, and Patches within the Bank for variations. Great for Patch Per Song, Named and Stored via ToneLib and all saved on the phone! Cracking bits of kit even now, at budget prices...
