An Alembic Epic and also an Essence. Nice build quality but it ends there. KSD 705. Looked great, felt and sounded terrible.

Recently bought this SUB5 from a member sans pick guard. I'm not usually a tort fan but went for it this time as I think it really works with the Matt black The five people who've seen it all said yuck! I love it which is all that matters but wondered if I've broken some little known bass law😂

Tons going on there and surrounding areas. Check out the gig list for my mate's band Exposé and you'll then have a list of all the good venues. As already mentioned, couple of reasonable shops to browse round. Very good jazz scene in Essex too.

Get the bass set up first, buy a s/h Zoom etc. It's what I use too and when I need to bypass, I just hit "tuner" it'll have probably 90% of what you want in the presets.

Are her band still called the "Luvvers"?

My wife suggested singing that at an open mic night so I quickly worked out the chords and we went for it. I'd forgotten what a great song it was. Shout, is the opening number in our band. It's a real attention grabber and goes down well.

Just a quick question, probably a silly one, but hopefully someone here will know. If two songs get played on the radio, one, as a one off say, by an unknown artist, and the other by someone really famous like Elton John for example, is there any difference in the royalties paid to each artist for that one play of their respective songs?

First time I've Googled my own name. I appear to be a bloke who's renovated and re-opened a cafe in a run down part of Bradford. I did get a couple of pics of me though in the images bit that comes up.
