1.
..... but even then they were either mic'd or DI'd. In the absence of amplification of one sort or another, there are few instruments as unfit for purpose as an acoustic bass guitar.
Oh dear;( maybe I should offload this..
2. Wait for something to turn up on here .
3. Pic is a bit hazy man;) . Iphone ? A couple of other pics would improve your chance of a quick sale
4. Well, there may be another way. Bluejay like Warwicks . Maybe she may advise. Also, you could write a nice polite letter to warwick/thoman head office, telling them about Basschat . You never know ...
5. Packed solid . Support from voodoo six. . Have one of their mp3s . They were really good. Very '80s. Winery dogs were awesome! Billy could be heard proper. Awesome bass solo. The bad? Missed the Germany game. Saw highlights but knew the score already ;( oh well
6. I'm also curious. I know that some steinbergers and hohners have a low d tuner on them. Maybe someone can extend this thread. Btw; what has happened to kubicki basses. ? Not many around these days ...
7. Must say , Fnm had a big crowd. Used to like sound garden . Saw both Fnm and them a few times at their peak. Looking at the super unknown album, you could see why they broke up. One or two of the songs sounded like they were strung out on heroin or something. Always been a hit and miss band for me .
8. Was in Denmark st yesterday in the morning. Looked in the window of one of the shops and found out I missed it
9. Thank you . Sorry to hear you never went . Btw; forgot to mention faith no more. They basically played what they wanted. A few good songs.the fans loved them. I used to be a fan . I found them patchy. Loved the track they played on the encore, ' get him on the f@@ king phone ' I think it was called .
10. Please excuse poxy spellchecker
11. Sabbath were great .ozzys voice held up most of the time . Sound was poor for a voile of songs . Sound garden were ok. They lates the supeunkmown album. Haven't played it for yeArs as I went off of them for a while . Good set apart from 2somgs. Lemmy looks very poorly . Motörhead started off well, but grated on me after a few songs. Great drummer , but solo too long. First time I saw soulfly. They were good. Stayed in the same part, so missed the other bands. Great day out
12. Thanks guys;) yeah, I have my eye on eBay . The annoying thing is, there are real bargains to be had if I could drive. Oh well..
13.
This is mine, not ideal but I'm reasonably happy with it, baring in mind I only have 1 room . I have my keyboard on a stand at the side of me when I'm working on stuff. I have an armchair against the wall facing it, and tend to sit in listening over things on repeat. Seriously though, decide how you want it, and then use eBay and Gumtree to source things.
Nice setup;) do you have a usb music keyboard?
14. Just as everything is nice compact and flat, now it's going curved. What next curved laptops?!
15. Thanks basically, I'm using a corner desk , which is rather small for my requirements . Was thinking of a long white desk , about 6' long . Then I thought that a cupboard may be tidier .
16. Looking for the above . Something that can either be used in the bedroom or living room. Obviously, it would hold my Mac mini /monitor(or TV ) computer keyboard.. Would like something to give me incentive to start recording again, and want to start getting my act together and tidying up. Would like so me thing that has everything in place when I open the door;) Anyone have any ideas? Please advise Cheers
17. Funny thing was, fender made a cronos bass. Can't remember the model name as such. The higher part of the neck was fretless. Think it had LEDs too.
18. Billy talent
19. Saw about 20 mins. It was all too much for me. Still trying to workout what was more boring. This , or Argentina v Switzerland this evening.
20.
Clem's great, but he reminds me of the drummer at the wrong gig bloke....
Yes!
21. Is that Clem Burke drumming for blonde . Brilliant drummer . Love his attitude. Most talented one in the band imho
22. Just catching a glimpse of blonde . This is funny. Debs would be ideal in the shred dies advert. Why the sign language from the blonde dancer?
