1.
Indeed. Last time I was shopping for a bulldozer the shop assistant kept pestering me to buy a pair of boots and a cap with matching logo to go with it.
My mad scaffolding friend,,used to have a brown tan version of their boots. Couldn't see any pictures of a pussycat on them. A bit of a stupid name tbh .
2. Great for death metal
3. That's a nice bass. Love the headstock. I think someone sold a bunny Brunel model on here a while back. Lovely green. Don't see many of the around, apart from the. Old American bass magazines. Bump this thread
4. Nice video. I'm watching this on an ipad, so ymmv;) I would say , the bassmaster would be ideal for gigs. No fuss. The others are good. The swollen pickle seems to be bordering on synth territory. I would imagine, it has to be used sparingly
5. Crikey this thread has escalated . ( despite me being merry with 1 eye on a train)5
6. Makes sense really(doesn't it?). A fretted, a fretless. And one other . That will be 5less than I have at the moment .
7. Thanks again brx. I have cordless keyboard /mouse (Apple) computer I'm using is a2007 Mac mini . I have a combined printer /scanner I hardly use tbh.
8. Just USB keyboard. All I want to do really , is record bass/ iPad / USB keyboard . I think that's all;) This looks easy to use for that ..
9. Thanks for that. That's the thing tho ' . I'm not bothered about the limitations tbh. Just after something quick and easy to record.
10. Looks so easy to use on the you pube clips. Even easier than garageband. What are your opinions , if any?
11. Paul bail off is not the same I'm afraid. Can someone it some candle mass in this thread, to Liven it up a bit ?
12. That's great
13. There was a Mesa boogie walkabout scout on here for sale, not long ago. Never tried one, but it would fit the bill imho.
14.
Supported Venom back in the day at The Honeysuckle in Gateshead. Bit shouty, bit scary.
15.
Whilst all that growly stuff was going on i was listening to Mercyful Fate and King Diamond......just saying lol
Me too;)
16.
Preist never really shouted though, songs like Living After Midnight we sung rather than shouted. I remember seing biohazard live in London somewhere in the early 90's, now they just shouted and growled through 2 hours of noise. Judas never did that, they played for 2 hours. IMHO anyway. Cheers, Rich
Sorry rich - crossed wires here. I think ithe answer to my question seems to be venom ( unless another name comes up)
17. Think it's a shop. 'We/us' . How much would they charge for strings?
18. Back in the early gigs, I did most with a fantastic guitarist. Loved his sound (think '80s metal). Learned a lot from him. Back then, it was just my bass into combo. Nothing else.I was just playing riffs /root notes . We both always got complimented at our gigs. Maybe keeping it simple is best.
19. Yeah, could be. Saw them at hammy o back in the day. They were good. Exodus played with paul bail off too. Had all of venoms early albums. Can't listen to them now.
