    I had to learn, I’m in the mood for dancing by the Nolan’s for a garden party last summer , the really sad thing is I enjoyed it 😔

    I’ve had a few mics for the iPhone, they definitely increase the volume but don’t seem to pick up the bass

    So many people don’t have a good word to say about the 70’s jazz basses, I personally think they are a great piece of history and when you get a good one like yours it’s definitely worth keeping and enjoying 😀. Alain m on YouTube had a lovely 74 jb which I just missed out on buying a few years ago

    If you are interested in the modes this is worth a watch , he basically breaks them down into their arpeggios , the 1st , 3rd ,5th and 7th note of each mode ,

    Yeah, split it, biscuit joint it glue and clamp it . It actually looks like quite a nice bass

    The crack goes right through to the front, you would have to split the body and re join it

    I’ve never played a headless, but I really fancy one now, do they have any downside ie do they balance ok?

    I see that yesterday it looks like the body is split , not the paint

    I’ve been playing bass for years and up until 4 years ago I didn’t even know what a mode was so I started studying bass theory and the more I read the more things fell into place. This chart maybe of use to you 😀 Daric Bennett has some great lessons on them
