  1. Not something I’ll be watching at all
  2. Wasn’t that one known as the black label, from 93-97 ish and had the strat style knobs there was a thread on those once, not sure where it is now
  3. Very nice, i like the roadworn series, congrats
  4. Listening to some Delroy Wilson today, one of my favourites
  5. I’ve never had dead strings out of the packets, was it a fault with them
  6. Vaseline will deaden the string, I’ve done it and it definitely works, a Sean Hurley tip
  7. To widen my bass vocabulary I started learning some jamerson songs a few years ago, it wasn’t until I started breaking them down that I realised just how great he really was, and to play them with one finger is remarkable
  8. Harsh but fair 😁, great picture
  9. Hi @jardin9, have you seen the one recently listed on the Fretboard, might be of interest to you
  10. Too many changes for me, but that ebony fretboard looks lovely
  11. I can help with the .5 bit if you could manage the rest
  12. I’ve listened to all these tracks and there’s not one I don’t like, great productions , I think I’m gonna have to get this album
  13. Andy B has got a really nice 61 P, all original in fiesta red in, really lovely thing and sounds lovely , too high price tag for me, https://www.andybaxterbass.com/products/1961-fender-precision-bass-fiesta-red-1
  14. Yeah sure, always best to try if you can, are they still not accepting visitors
  15. I’ve got an LB30 and they are pretty nice, imo there’s not a massive amount of eq , it’s more subtle I’d say ,but it has a very nice tone of its own , I’ve also got a pf50t which is very different , it has that Ampeg sound and is a lot more versatile, they are both very good
  16. They are a member here, you also got this to have a look through
  17. I’d forgotten about the one Tony Tuff did and Tappa Zukie
  18. There’s a few from the 90s in riddim ID https://riddim-id.com/riddims/733/love-me-forever
  19. That’s a great song and yeah there’s many versions, if I’m not mistaken I think the original is by Carlton &the shoes, I’ll have a look at the 90s releases
  20. Good one here from Don, guess the Flabba Basslines , I’ve got a few already and know more, just got to think of them
  21. I would try pauls suggestion above, and have a close look at the frets snorkie, I’m guessing it’s something minor, I’ve had so many jazzes and precision’s over the years and none have had any dead spots ,despite what some may say it’s not common in my experience of them
