  11. I’m pretty much a jazz and precision player now, I’ve had so many jazzes from Mexican to custom shop, I know they aren’t new but one of the best ones I’ve got now is the American jazz elite, they are passive and active and are amazing quality, i like them so much that I’m looking for another at the moment in black, it’s just a suggestion but try one out if you can , the American Ultra is another I’d recommend trying

  17. There’s a bit of a story about that one if anyone is interested, it was one of Aston Barrett’s early basses originally ,and when he started touring with the wailers he gave it to Robbie, Robbie thinks he might have played the Hofner on the Wailers Concrete Jungle recording
  18. Personally I’d just pay the return postage, mark it down to experience and get looking for another bass
  19. This is a few years later, if you like that style you might like this
  20. That’s a disappointing response, maybe point them towards this thread where experienced bass players are mostly in agreement that it’s not acceptable , really hope you can get this sorted
  21. That would be a bit too much of a mismatch for me to accept, I think they need to do a more in-depth search to find you one more matching from their stock, you need to be happy with after all or you’ll always be looking , good luck
  22. Thanks rao, that’s a very early one by lee Perry, probably around the same time as Long shot by the Pioneers , actually I just found this, In 1968, reggae pioneer Lee “Scratch” Perry launched his first record label, Upset Records, with the single “People Funny Boy
