  1. I’ve seen the pictures of this on the auction site, it’s an interesting one that someone has used for a project, I do think the body and neck is original but the dot markers are strange , could it be a walnut finish and not mocha?, the extra hole in the pickguard would worry me as that could suggest extra routing under the guard for maybe active electrics, I’d ask for some pics, and one of the neck stamp if possible, with a decent bridge it might be ok but hard to tell without seeing it up close and playing it, good luck
  2. I find short replies like this sometimes put me off buying from people, if they don’t know anything about the bass then they only have to say so, I understand they might have had some timewasters but we’re talking about parting with nearly £3,500 in cash
  3. Great answer 😂
  4. Yeah I saw that too Mickey , made me wonder why too, just thought if someone was close it might be worth a look, that’s if it’s still there
  5. Try this https://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/1967-fender-precision-bass/1497408033??utm_source=mail&utm_campaign=socialbuttons&utm_content=app_ios&utm_medium=Social
  6. £3,495 Rob, which is a low price , I’ve bought some early jazzes and precision’s from gumtree before, you just have to go and check them out properly
  7. There’s a 67/68 precision listed on gumtree which might be worth a look if you’re in the what looks like Bournemouth area
  8. Enjoying this, don chandler on bass, it’s next on my to play list
  9. Yeah you’re right Bb , twice before and this is the third, I can’t exactly remember but wasn’t it 5k the first time
  10. Second time I think this one has been up for sale, apparently they are mustang tuners, I was tempted the first time but the tuners put me off for some reason
  11. Very nice, the tapes sound great too
  12. Wow, that’s quite a beauty, can I ask how they sound
  13. Great way to describe him ez 😁 and yes, it’s the timing that keeps catching me out, I kinda jumped straight in but I think I need to listen to it a lot more first, thanks 🙏
  14. I’m attempting Gravity John Mayer, it’s a tricky little one isn’t it
  15. I’d just plug them as they are myself, the larger type cocktail sticks like the wooden kebab ones do a great job and they are pretty hard
  16. Great cab , I’ve still got one in my summerhouse and they really are bassy, but yeah pretty heavy
  17. Hi Rob, yes I’d glue and plug the holes, preferably with hardwood and let it dry and re drill your new holes
  18. I’ve never played one of those, nice looking bass , it’s got a really high action and the saddles look low though
  19. Looks great nilo, congratulations
  20. Listening to some Cornell Campbell today, nice tune here called Kings Heart, lovely bassline, not sure who played it
  21. congrats , love that and it’s one of my favourite colours
