That’s where I’ve been going wrong, I’ve been putting lemoncello on my fretboard and doing lemon oil shots 😁

Hi DoubleO, I mainly play jazzes or my sandberg these days but this was my main bass for quite a while, I’m no P bass expert, but I cannot fault mine , the stock pickups sound good, it’s well balanced, the neck has a 40mm nut and all the fret edges are polished, the neck is also fairly shallow from front to back, which I like, not chunky like some Ps I’ve played . All in all the build quality is very good. 🙂 If I can answer any more just let me know 👍

I know it’s a bit different, but I had a similar experience with my Fender P , which the shop found in their warehouse, it was 8 years old , in its case and still had the tags on , i bought it reduced as , new old stock 🙂

I remember seeing the fender noir redline in pmt, I think , that had a black headstock 🙂

Right for me and I’m right handed but I’m working on some Tony Grey techniques at the moment and he talks about this , because he uses the left leg, I tried it but it feels odd 🙂

D’Addario black tapes would sit nice on that 🙂

The first time I tried fender flats they felt a bit grippy (if that’s a word) out of the packet , but it wore off in a few days 🙂
