  1. I think we’re unanimous in this, who’s gonna be the first to sell 🤔😁
  2. I think one reason that could be because he gives really low prices for part exchange and buying in, I’ve known him for a long time and I know money has to be made but I haven’t been able to do any deals because of what he offers, quite disappointing sometimes
  3. OASIS - NOEL GALLAGHER'S OWNED AND AUTOGRAPHED SUNBURST FENDER PRECISION, estimated 10k-20k for a 73P, be interesting to see how much it goes for, https://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/auction-catalogues/propstore/catalogue-id-the-pr10049/lot-d6897252-ef72-4ce8-abb0-b36a00f9edf6
  4. Haven’t put much up here lately as I’ve been travelling a fair bit, anyway a wonderful album to check out if you have a chance, it’s on the heavy dub side and there’s some great Basslines in there , love a bit of Soul Syndicate
  5. The bass gallery have got a few CARs in , I’m not familiar with Bob Daisley
  6. Just listened with headphones and it’s subtle but the 64 for me, it let me go to his next video with the 3 P basses, the 67 sounds amazing
  7. B for me, I like the way the grain runs outwards , but both very nice pieces of walnut indeed
  8. Yes I agree, isn’t this what Sean Hurley does with his 61 and 66 in the studio and sometimes live, and I know he uses his custom shop also
  9. That’s not the reasons I have them or anyone I know, I just like the whole vibe about them and enjoy playing them ,but I do agree that some just buy them simply for their value
  10. I’m glad in a way that don’t prefer the wider neck on the early 60s precisions or I would be in a bit of trouble 😁, although I do have a bit of a liking for a few 66s I’ve seen at the moment
  11. Imo the 60s and early 70s basses do sound different, I’ve got 6 precisions and 8 jazzes and nothing plays and feels like a good vintage fender , to me they also have a history and certain nostalgia, I’ve also never had a so called dog, I guess there are some bad ones out there and some are better made than others just like they are now but I think a lot of that is just bad publicity from the fender haters who’ve probably never even played one , they are crazy prices now and I wouldn’t drop 18k on one unless it was love at first sight 😁which hasn’t happened yet, I don’t think the prices will go down either so still investable
  12. Forgot about this thread, I’ve been trying a few songs that have that great African vibe which has taken me to learning something new to me which is Seben bass along the lines of this, quite a lot of the songs are based around a 1-4-5 progression but getting up to speed is pretty tricky
  13. For anyone who hasn’t heard this, it’s superb, good luck mickey
  14. That’s some collection, Vintage wise ,sunburst is my favourite for a precision, and Olympic white for jazzes, but I think there’s something special about the candy apple red , I’d happy have that P or jazz especially with the matching headstock, be interesting to see how the bidding goes
  15. Ooh thank you Rick
  16. Nice job, I’ve got the same pickups in one of my precision’s, I can’t remember how much I paid but it wasn’t a big price, really great aren’t they
  17. Absolute Music Have got a lovely looking 63 P in, lots of wear on it , looks pretty cool , shame the prices have gone up so much https://share.google/Leijlry2koONTRuhQ
  18. I don’t have instagram but from what I can see that CAR precision looks nice, don’t think GH auctions site is open for viewing yet
  19. Just had a thought, I was thinking right handed, perhaps it’s right with a lefty
  20. This doesn’t sound right to me, all my P basses which are up to 72 work clockwise to increase the volume and tone, don’t know why they would work in reverse
  21. I don’t use rounds so I don’t know how they feel , but looking at the gauges maybe the labella 760FL (light) which are 43-104 , I’ve got them on a few precision’s and they are a nice sound and tension, below that is the 760FX 39-96 (extra light), the LTF’s are my personal preferred choice, similar tension to TI’s but not as bright
  22. Looks really good and so much better I think, i like a dark board, is it messy to use, did you have to use masking tape or something similar
