  1. At the end of this video by miki santamaria there’s a close up of the thumb position ☝️
  2. Same here, I set mine really low, I had a custom shop jazz once that neither I or a tech could get below 2mm at the 12th without buzz , I sold it straight away
  3. I know but I keep going back for another look 😄
  4. I can’t say I’ve seen that particular one before , a quick google says they were made for the 1998 NAMM show
  5. Great name, that bass would be spot on 🙂
  6. What’s your band name
  7. I’m not a big fan of gold hardware, but this is really nice 🙂 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F184149997267
  8. Nice jazz there kevin ☝️
  9. They look so good with the wall panel behind ☝️
  10. I’ve changed the pickups in my stacked knob jazz a few times with no issues at all, 🙂
  11. Wow that’s a lot of learning, how do you find the time,
  12. 4x50 or 60 in a 7mm rawlpug, is fine , I haven’t got anything to stop the body banging against the wall, but on exposed brickwork I suppose you could use those adhesive felt pads 🙂
  13. Thanks very much skychaser, ☝️
  14. Would the Ashdown macchiato allow me to increase the bass?
  15. Yeah that makes sense, thanks stub
  16. Quick question, I use an LB 30 through a MB115 for home practice and I like the core tone , but I want a deeper bass tone , I’ve tried a cheap equaliser pedal and it does work, would I be better buying a decent one or would a compressor work or another pedal etc, thanks 🙂
  17. I’ve had that circular hole on a few of my jazzes, what’s it for ?
  18. He’s a great player and also a member here 🙂
  19. Very nice kevham, I like that ☝️
  20. What about large Velcro ties , they come in various lengths.https://www.hookandloopfasteners.co.uk/fasteners/25mm-wide-1000mm-long-alfatex-front-ring-strap.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI29Lf5oyd5wIVSYXVCh3q_gArEAQYBCABEgKkHvD_BwE
  21. I’ve never had a bass arrive with the strings loosened off, and Ive had a lot of basses over the years from all over the world , Ive also had jazz necks on the bench in my joinery shop for months , and there’s been no movement in the skunk stripes, I don’t believe relaxing the strings did any damage at all 🙂
  22. Me too tinyd, I’ve followed them pretty much from day 1 , there’s some good studio footage on YT which is well worth a look, I’m also listening to quite a bit of Israel vibration lately, some nice basslines,
