That’s so nice, is it all original.

After playing for over 30 years with very little music theory, I decided about 3 years ago to up my game , so I now practice every night without fail, alternating different subjects like, scales and modes , then root , fifth, octave patterns all over the neck then triads with different fingering, I also spend quite a lot of time on muting and ghost note techniques, but whatever I do I always finish off playing some of my favourite sly and Robbie tracks 🙂

Very, I’ve never actually seen one in the flesh 🙂 I believe they only made about 200 of them between 65 and 71

I didn’t think so either, I’m in no rush and PMT had quite a wide range of sandbergs in store for you to try , the main selling point for me was the necks were so comfortable and the build quality was excellent

I ordered a custom TT in mid December and was told estimated delivery would be the end of March .

I don’t remember it being overly heavy, but I’m sure it was 😀

I had just joined my first reggae band and I can remember going into my local music shop which was called, Freeman’s , in Leytonstone high road in 1979 when I was 16 and playing a fender jazz bass which was £399 , and dreaming of owning one 😀. Looking at your price list that 399 must have been the used price .

It could be candy cola red which is a bit darker than the candy apple 🙂

I’ve had many amps and heads over the years and I’m verging on a all valve head , which one did you get 🙂

From what I’ve seen of them they are very well made basses , Robbie Shakespeare plays a 1985/6 prs

The D string sounds a touch out of tune.

I saw this the other day, it looks really nice, and it’s active , it also looks like it’s been well looked after and having the original tools is always a good sign, it’s too far from me . Good luck with your bidding mojo🙂
