    I’ve been reading up on valve heads lately and the transformers weigh quite a bit, and they are normally constructed very solid which also adds to the weight

    There was a natural one for sale last year on gumtree for £600 , I was tempted but it was in Falkirk 🙂

    If you unscrew the control plate you will see if the body has been routed for the wires to the neck pickup 🙂
