  2. Why is this not a more common feature?! Makes complete sense!
  3. Awesome! Would love to see a collage of the first batch when all completed!!
  4. Both great. Are you going to darken the necks though?
  5. Bought mine early 2019 and the tolex was fine - til a feckin mouse chewed a bit off the back!!!
  6. That is a hell of a looker!
  7. Bought some in-ears, reading a review I discovered the term “Chi Fi”. I think this helped me decipher the Chickenbacker thing.

  9. The Rumble 100s look nice. What about the new Ashdown Studio series? Firmly in the Rumble territory but UK based? No experience with either though, sorry.
  10. I get it now! Chinese Rickenbacker = chickenbacker! I honestly thought it was something to do with chickens!!!

  12. Gold anodized to match the headstock decal!
  13. @AndyTravis what about a simple scratch plate change? And/or chrome hardware?
  14. It’s a nice looking bass, but it doesn’t match the fantastic colours of the rest of your collection - I’m coming around to the idea of a respray!! 🤣
  15. I really like this - excellent stuff Andy!
  16. I can’t work out if it’s bad or good. Interesting, yes.
  17. Sorry, just my first reaction. I just had an image of popping down to Tesco in a Ferrari. Lols. If only these had been so cheap when I was looking for a head. Never mind. Carry on, nothing to see here...
  18. Who buys a 500 watt head for home practice?!?!
  19. Tired, emotional, blames you for everything, etc.
  20. And the Peavey comes with a bag! I love the silver version of the Warwick, with the wooden sides. Very 70’s hifi.
  21. I have a mystery jap Perspex strat. I used to want to know more about it, but these days I’m happy with it being my mystery guitar. Enjoy it!
