  1. I like the green one 👍🏻
  2. Makes the whole bass look so much more purposeful compared to the standard bridge. Nice.
  3. I reckon another full lockdown will be along by autumn. Next April though, we should have a bar there and make it a two day event!
  4. It’s really for foggy where Phil is today.
  5. Already done mate!
  6. My search skills are lacking - can you post a link to jinwan on eBay please?
  7. Could be the 5 grams you need! I like the look of Talmans. The closest I’ve got is just a blank body for one of my bitsas!
  8. These are awesome and cheap: https://www.woodbrass.com/en-gb/microphones-dynamic-prodipe-tt1-pro-ludovic-lanen-p115344.html I bought a three pack. They’ve been compared to the Telefunken M80, probably come from the same factory! What style of music are you playing? Some recording styles might not be suitable for some genres (if you’re trying to emulate a type of sound).
  9. Nice job! Wouldn’t removing the now-redundant original machine head screws reduce the headstock weight though? By a tiny amount, but surely worth it after spending good money on the lightest tuners?
  10. That looks great, Dom. Are you going to contour the body, or leave it slab stylee?
  11. This is going to look beautiful! I really love your work, Jabba!!!
  12. And the scratchplate!!
  13. Rockwool will help - pop some pics up and I’ll make some (amateur) suggestions!
  14. There isn’t one, yet... 😂. There is a show us your music spaces one though. I’m interested in your shed as I’m in the process of building one to put all my music gear in.
  15. The Harley Benton Jazz I bought played and sounded ace. Weighed a ton though! Suppose weight isn’t such a consideration for office noodling though. Have you posted your shed in the “Show is your shed” page?
  16. I like that 👍🏻
  17. Nice shape. I’d be tempted to put a modern bridge, tuners & jack socket on it, just for sh*ts and giggles.
  18. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.soundonsound.com/techniques/studio-sos-amplifying-recording-tea-chest-bass%3famp
  19. Grab an old speaker and wire it up to an XLR? Piezo maybe? Or both!
  20. Magnetically fitted plate? Best of both worlds!
  21. That’s bonkers! Imagine that pickup combo with an individual saddle bridge.
