  1. Sounds like a challenge to me!
  2. Is the Warwick functional?
  3. I like the black one.
  4. Thanks! It’s been pretty much my number 1 for a good year or so. Just sooo darn comfortable to wear/play. Easy to store, easy to stand. Easy to wander round the house playing without taking chunks out of door frames. If only my hands weren’t like daddy-long-legs, tripping over the jazz-width nut!
  5. I don’t think I could deal with a spooky kid on my bass!
  6. See?!
  7. The cream is quite close to desert camouflage, so what about a Mod/RAF jobby? Like this, but muted, like when Captain America toned it down. Anyhoo - get well soon, Stew!
  8. I’d so love something narrow enough to go on top of my Two10. I my mind it’s look like Barefaced’s take on that Ampeg micro SVT thing!
  9. I hope you got it back, and broke the nose of the “seller”!
  10. What cabs are they?
  11. What will the pedal do?
  12. Cryptic Instagram post. Man, I hope it’s a bass amp that sits perfectly atop my vertically oriented Two10! Spill the beans, @alexclaber!!!
  13. Absolutely!
  14. I’m selling some bits so I can see about buying Gareth’s other one of those! I thought the slightly off-white controls and pickup covers would contrast nicely with a black scratchplate.
  15. @metermanThat looks lush!
  16. So heavy, the sheer gravity of the rig prevented you from taking a photo?! Come on man, you knows the rules - pics or it didn’t happen!
  17. They do fit together, albeit a little loosely. Basically I made a bitsa, nearly finished it, then came to the realization that my skills did not meet my expectations, so I decided to sell it. With a little work, it could probably be a really nice instrument. Unfortunately I am not the one to complete it!!! My finish probably needs to be started again.
  18. Only gone and ordered another set for my bitsa!
  19. Here’s an excellent quality Ki0gon loom, attached to a three hole tele-bass chrome plate. Wired V/V on the stacked knob, with tone on its own (I can’t remember why I spec’d it in such an unusual layout!) Quality wiring/pots/Jack, and screw terminals so you don’t have to solder a thing! Priced for the loom, with plate and postage free!

  20. *** Sold in just over 2 hrs!! *** Had these for a bit, but prefer a mellower sound, so offered here for sale. Included - original box, wiring diagram, screws, foam blocks. Happy to answer any questions. Price includes Royal Mail delivery.
  21. Pulled from a Squire, probably Affinity. Does the job! Price includes postage (Royal Mail first class).
  22. Might have been your positive words on them that made my mind up to try them @Lozz196!
  23. The Toneriders arrived just now. They fit! And my oh my, they sound gooood!!! Perfectly balanced sonic spectrum. Warm, articulate. I’m a convert, and I now have the perfect bass. The end.
  24. I’m no woodworker, but 1.5” is already a suitable body thickness. 3” would be huge and heavy!
  25. I know gold anodized plates can be divisive, so just to say I already have one, and I very much like it! I bought it for my JV P (maple board, sunburst - classic). Also on my JV P were some Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders, but they don’t fit the aesthetic, and are a bit too “in yer face” (esp with the maple board), so I decided to swap them over with my bitsa pups, as I reasoned that they would sit better in a rosewood-boarded instrument. Thank goodness for @KiOgon looms! However, I can’t get the (temporary) squire pups that were in my bitsa in to the pup cutouts on the scratchplate. The corners of the pup corners seem to be too sharp/square. I’ve placed an order for some Tonerider pickups, and I’m really hoping they fit as-is - I really don’t want to start filing the plate. Anyone else had issues with different pups in an anodized plate?
