I have my eye on a lovely bass here in the classifieds, so I’m reluctantly letting this beauty go.  If that sells before this one though, it’ll stay put!

Offered for your consideration is my lovely Hohner ‘The Jack’ through-neck four string headless, modified with a passive Ki0gon loom, wired VVT.  Comes with a hard case.

The active circuit is known to be a bit “meh” on these, so I wasn’t too sad when I accidentally broke it.  I fitted the passive Ki0gon loom and now sounds so lovely and clear - really opened up the EMG pickups.

There are a few dings consummate with age.  The neck appears to have been rubbed back to a satin finish by a previous owner.  Slim and fast, 24 frets.

All in all, a beautifully ergonomic instrument that sits perfectly on a strap and feels comfy as your favourite slippers.

Thanks!  It’s been pretty much my number 1 for a good year or so.  Just sooo darn comfortable to wear/play.  Easy to store, easy to stand.  Easy to wander round the house playing without taking chunks out of door frames.

If only my hands weren’t like daddy-long-legs, tripping over the jazz-width nut!

Unfortunately, that's why it's a "GLWTS" rather than "PM Sent".

I lusted after one of these in the early 90's. We had a guitar shop about half a mile from our school and I used to go in pretty-much twice a week and hang out with the owner, Jonathan. He was a lovely guy and when we used to jam I always made a beeline for the Jack Bass he had on the wall. 
 

 I'm so tempted....
