I've got a vague recollection of seeing an ACG like that, but could be mistaken. It can be hard to discern 3d carves from only 2d images.

Follow up to this thread. Guitar finally got back to its owner, who was absolutely delighted with it, always nice to hear that.

If you like a really low action, it will get you lower and cleaner than you will manage at present. If you like a high action, many do, it's probably not worth the bother.

If the weather stays like this, it may just consist of birdsong and slurping sounds!

I've not got round to it this month. If I get round to doing anything tomorrow, any chance I could sneak a cheeky one in?

Thanks. Doing it all over again in Oxford tomorrow and Northampton Friday. I will be taking 2 guitar amps next time. The 2nd guitarist borrowed a ZT Lunchbox amp last night. I asked what he thought of it? " It made a noise" he replied....

Indeed it was. All went swimmingly, and a lovely night was had by all. Met some friendly locals, and I think they even sold a few cds. No-one had their rear damaged, and i even got to park right by the front door!

Oh well, off I go. Wish us luck (and lack of damage!)

It does seem a pretty massive assumption that all the gear will be laid on without even asking. It's a good job I will probably do all the lending, as I know of many on here who have stated that they would not, and I totally understand why! I'm normally easy going, but this has even got me slightly peeved! My drummer, on the other hand, may turn a bit pissy if he thinks he's being taken for a ride (or a crash!), as he doesn't have the means to replace his gear as readily as I.

We're doing 3 gigs in a row with 3 American bands who are on a mini tour. At this point, I should make it clear I am not the point of contact in this band! Our man contacted one of the 'merkins to check what bits our drummer would need to bring for the first gig tonight. Guess what? "Could you bring the whole kit please?". "And we will need 2 guitar amps". "Oh, and a bass rig" This was at 1pm on the day of the gig (today), I packed all the gear I'm taking (amp, cab, guitar amp) last night and going straight there from work. Not going home to get my other guitar amp. I hope the venue has a PA. Can anyone confirm the Beehive in Swindon has a house PA? Cheers. Oh, rant over!

I know a friend's band ("Definitely Britpop") who use a pair of the bigger Bose Line arrays with the Bose subs. They get on just fine with everything going just through it, including the bass, I think.
