    I have used Adrians basses for a few years now and can recommend them without hesitation. They sound great and balance real nice due to the light weight. I have two for sale due to my car 🚗 needing an MOT. If I didn't need the money I would keep them. You are welcome to come and try one at gu479rw with no obligation to buy. The bearing is a right off if you do. I would look for an old school hifi shop ( someone still stuck in the 1980s ) that are FACTORY TRAINED on the lp12. This might take sometime but will be worth the effort. Also try calling Linn to see if they can help. A service will cost around £200.
