1. The post is pending approval. The link goes straight to the ad here. I've made clear I'm not the seller but if anybody contacts me I'll ask for contact details and PM you with them. Just thought you's stand a better chance on a dedicated page. GLWS edit Still no movement on the link Think I should have followed the others and just sneaked the link in a post praising SGC basses.
2. Two days and no interest. That's nuts. Have a BUMP for giving folk the chance to own a great bass. I'll link to this on the SGC Nanyo FB page maybe drum up some interest.
3. Lovely basses. Mine is ancient but still going strong This is an absolute steal.
4. I'm in Glasgow later today so I'll drop in.
5. The Mr T Experience album Milk,Milk,Lemonade had the wonderful " I love you but you're standing on my foot", also did " Even Hitler had a girlfriend." Screeching Weasel album " How to make enemies & irritate people." gave us " I hate your guts on Sunday and The Real MacKenzies had their version of "Kill" only it was called "Kilt". Loch'd and Loaded was a good title too. Special mention to The Meteors for " Live,Leery and F***ing Loud" for apt description :-) dlloyd Great band Man or Astroman ?
6. Volume for each coil same as Musicman passive.
7. I bought this Kinsman for £33 from Amazon. Discontinued now but eBay will have them. Need to hit it helluva hard to dislodge the DB. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003BNHJFW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
8. I've never been a Kiss fan. Know very little about them TBH but I saw them at the Glasgow Apollo mid 80's. Bloody good live band I thought. Twas a strange night though. Free tickets,no box office staff,no security men or bouncers and the support act Bon Jovi wore more make up than Kiss I'd like to stress I was NOT there to see Bon Jovi .
9. I spent quite a few years without my own bass. I'd play whatever was to hand regardless of scale length, weight, neck thickness or string type. Found it a good experience but granted I'm not the most technical of players so just got on with it. I'd take any bass over no bass
10. 11. Eden WTDI arrived this week from John. No messing about, the fella's a pleasure to deal with. Wouldn't hesitate to do business with again. Credit to BC.
12. Taken care of it Mark
13. Aye. My good brother JACink came up that idea while suffering a post xmas hang over. With folk from Brazil, across to Europe, down to Africa, then on to India it's come on well the last couple of years. Have you got a number yet ? Don't see you on the back-up list.
14.
What does it ship with? Also... Haven't I seen you somewhere else?
No idea what they string them with,if it was D'Addarios there'd be a tag saying so.Dare say you've seen me before, I do turn up in the strangest places
15. Great looking bass Mark. Had one myself. Liked how it sounded with Fender flats, Rotobass nickel roundwounds were good too.
16. I was the same.Only ever on BC. Adblocker,Ublock and a Blocksite extension all running. Copied and pasted all pop-ups to the blocksite thing. Since the Net Filter.2 showed up in the malware software and was deleted I've been trouble free.
17. Seem to remember Jazz basses came strung with flats.
18. It's a Connolly-2 Punk bass from Krappy Guitars. 8th down right hand side. http://www.krappyguitars.com/punkbass.html Krappy is even cheaper than Wishbass. $95 for a one string fretless
19.
That's a lot of bass for little money.
Agreed and doesn't bode well for me if I decide to sell mine
20. Ma pal's ex got singing lessons in Glasgow, I'll get him to ask her who it was with.
21. $1600 for a B-Quad ?? I definitely need to up my gear insurance
22. Just want to let my good brother nerkoids know I've once again asked the Harley Benton players to email Thomann regarding the lack of left handed models.
23. I'm with Cato on it being a USA only matter. RIC were pretty on the ball but forgot about Australia that's why Pitbull can sell kits legally.
24. If the bass is getting classed as "a plant" the license fee varies from £31 to £88. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/567085/cites-gn11.pdf Maybe you and the seller can come to an arrangement.
25. I was about to say Ms Priscilla Snake is insane but viewing her other items, Wilson bass £650 , I better up my insurance pronto Perhaps I should offer her my services to aid buying this "Weltron" ? https://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-instrument/vintage-1960-s-weltron-bass-/1223072656 Given her asking prices, a fee of £250 would suffice.
