  1. I’d like to see this go to a good home, as part of my thinning of the collection so do feel free to make me an offer via PM. it’s a terrific bass and you won’t be disappointed. The pics don’t do it justice.
  2. Sold my Moog Sub37 to Max, @goffman and all went very smoothly. Good communication and quick payment - Max is a really nice guy. Thanks for your purchase Max, and I hope you have a lot of fun with it Recommended. David @Risk101
  3. New price folks £2,750 for this amazing piece of craftsmanship 😀
  4. Selling my Moog Sub 37. "Tribute Edition" - if you're reading this you will know what these are all about. My one is in top notch condition - everything works perfectly, no marks, scratches, faults etc. Comes with: - Original Box, Manual, Schematic, power lead. - "Deck Saver" dust cover worth c£45 - Moog gig bag worth c£90 These are amazing machines and I think this one new was around £1,800 - the current version sells for around £1,500 so with the deck saver and bag this is a great way into that Moog experience at a lower price point. Collection/Covid-Safe Handover preferred. Postage at your cost might be possible. I'm in Essex near M11/M25 or Chelmsford. PM me if interested Updated: wouid consider trade options strictly limited to 1) Mike Lull PJ5 or 2) Fender Precision Ultra/Elite/Deluxe 5 string in black
  5. De-fret?? 😂 sorry that would be sacrilege!!
  6. ***********Final price £2,600 until close of play Monday 15th then I’m keeping it 😂****** It is with some hesitancy that I'm putting my Infinity up for sale - had it a few years now after purchasing it from the good folk at Stageshop in Budapest. They said it had been owned by a collector was barely played, and was part-ex'd for a high end guitar and it is in almost flawless condition. It dates from 2010, and the Warwick Serial Number Checker checks out. I think it is birds eye maple, and it is in the high gloss "antique tobacco" colour. The woods are absolutely beautiful and the bass itself has the typical Warwick sound, but compared to others I've had ($$, Thumb DB, Corvette) the tone is what I can only describe as "darker" ! Plays beautifully, and strung with Elixirs. Weighs just under 4.2kg (9lbs 4oz) Control top to bottom are stacked volume/pan, mid range, stacked bass/mid with push pull for "coil tap" of the bridge pickup. Anyhow, the pictures below give a good impression and if anyone wants any more then please PM me. There are no visible scratches, marks, and no missing finish although there is a small crack in the lacquer, not the wood, which is shown in the last picture. Comes with the original heavy duty flight case, and I have the original rather faded "dog tags" which match the "article number" on the Warwick website, plus the user kit, truss road tool etc. Price reflects what I paid for it - new ones are a silly price of course, but for the money, this is a beautifully handcrafted instrument of exceptional quality. PM me if interested - although I have the flight case, it is very heavy and I don't have a box that size to put it in so collection/meet up preferred when/where Covid rules permit - I am in Essex and (used to!) work in London UPDATE - WOUILD CONSIDER TRADE OPTIONS, STRICTLY LIMITED TO : 1) MIKE LULL PJ5 AND 2) FENDER PRECISION EITE/ULTRA 5 STRING IN BLACK WITH PJ PICKUP CONFIGURATION. MUST BE IN TOP CONDITION
  7. Thanks for the replies folks - very useful. I now remember the "coil-tap" function from the Thumb Dirty Blonde I used to have !
  8. Whilst looking around for info on my Infinity, I came across this! Your's for just €6,185 ("50% off") as what appears to be part of a sale of some of their "showroom" stock - this one from 2008 ! https://shop.warwick.de/en/instruments/electric-basses/warwick-custom-shop/infinity-models/22938/warwick-custom-shop-infinity-5-string-natural-high-polish-showroom-model-from-2008?c=3739
  9. So I am taking the reluctant decision to dispose of my Infinity which I've had the joy of owning for a few years now - it will appear in the "for sale" section later. But a couple of quick questions, could one of the Warwick experts on here help me out with describing two of the controls? The volume/pick up pan stacked control also has a "push/pull" on it, but for what? And I'd also be interested to know what the push/pull on the other stacked knob is supposed to do - I believe it "splits" the bridge pick-up but for what purpose? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DONT MAKE ANY REFERENCE TO THE SALE AS THIS WOULD BREACH FORUM RULES !! Thanks David
  10. Congratulations - that was super quick!!
  11. Love that Nirvana Black transparent high polish!!! I used to have a 5$$ in Nirvana but the non-high polish finish marks so easily! The black hardware really finishes it off nicely 👍🏻👍🏻
  12. Wow - beautiful - absolute work of art! GLWTS 👍🏻
  13. Just had a look at the video of Dylan’s band and - wow - super professional and great bass playing mate!! That P bass sounds fab. Someone is going to be very happy with it!! GLWTS
  14. Great price, great basses! Has to be one of the quickest sales on the forum !!!
  15. Saw the bassist for Celine Dion playing one of these (Sky Arts Channel) and wondered what it was, and now I know - sounded awesome. I do like a nice 5 string with tight string spacing, but already have 1 bass over my agreed quota !! Poor Bassman - think you'll have to re-list this under its proper name, although I suppose its handy to have it at the top of the thread all the time !
  16. Absolutely gorgeous and a bit of a steal imo ! GLWTS
  17. Great value for money this and a rare bass - if I hadn’t just bought a Precision I’d be all over this. GLWTS 👍🏻
  18. Couldn’t resist an excuse to post a pic of the NS5H2 - oh, and the case of course! One clip replaced where one failed !!
  19. Very nice indeed - agree the standard Spector hard case isn’t the best. Your new one looks quite similar to the plush ones that Fender (sorry to use that word here!!) use for their “deluxe” basses.
  20. Thanks Deedee that's really helpful - I'm based in Essex Covid level 3 !!
  21. Yes, thanks - excellent - so impressed with my fellow basschatter's knowledge on this !!
  22. Thanks for the comments and advice folks. Definitely wouldn’t be attempting any DIY adjustments here!!
  23. Certainly appears so, but I presume that can be adjusted! I didn’t want to fiddle with it while I was at my sisters!
