  1. Fluffo (Mark) bought my Jackson bass off me, and was great to deal with - very smooth transaction. Thanks Mark and hope you enjoy it. Cheers Dave
  2. Super-quick and rightly so - lovely bass !
  3. Ha, ha - thanks! Its actually a surprisingly good all-rounder, and you can dial in something akin to a nice jazz or funk sound which is quite amusing given the dramatic shape of it !
  4. So I bought this lovely bass as a back up for some gigs I was doing over Easter just in case I had a problem with my main and then only, bass (a Shuker - yes stupid to think there would be a problem). Of course it was not used, and has been hanging on the wall ever since, having been played at rehearsals once or twice only. So it is genuinely in "as new" condition, and they retail for around £480. It has a lovely translucent black quilted maple top over a basswood body, so it isn't too heavy. (about 3.8kg) String spacing at the bridge is a comfy 18mm. The manufacturers spec appears below. And yes, it is a neck-thru bass, not to be confused with the cheaper bolt-ons. I've got a Fender Jazz on the way as a replacement back-up, so "one in, one out" I am in Essex and work in London. Check out my feedback. Prefer not to post, although I do have the original box. I can supply it in an old but serviceable gig bag. 5. Yes, Denis advertises his basses widely across Europe & USA. I've had some correspondence with him, and he seems a top bloke based out of Barcelona. You can find out a bit more about him if you look at his Warwick Infinity post, where I believe he was a Warwick basses endorsee......
  6. Charlie is one of the most talented bassists/writers around imo - just listen to the Powafunk album to hear it - maybe some of the “magic” will rub off!! 😎
  7. Very nice - what would the string spacing at the bridge be on this one? thanks
  8. And this one much much nicer imo 😎 GLWTS ps - who on earth pays £15k for a bass?!!!
  9. Very very nice playing 👍👍 GLWTS.
  10. Wow. That Atelier bass sounds fab - nice and punchy, while being super-smooth!! Great playing! GLWTS 👍
  11. String spacing definitely 19mm? only some Sadowskys seem to be produced at 17.5mm (total width at bridge 70mm). beautiful instrument !
  12. I can also vouch for the super quality of Jon Shuker's work, plus he is a great bloke. I had a Series 2 (fretted) custom made with Buckeye Burl top, East EQ etc and I don't think your budget would be a barrier. There would doubtless be some lead time though as Jon's reputation is growing quickly!
  13. I had a 5 string version of this - they are very nice guitars and extremely well put together. Nice price! GLWTS.
  14. An absolute beauty! Shame I’m full on my 5ers! GLWTS
  15. Just beautiful GLWTS!
  16. Hi - is this a 4 or 8 ohm version? Thanks
  17. Just "wow"!! Where is three and a half grand when you need it. I'd even give up my 19mm string spacing aversion for this. Great, great bass - GLWTS!
  18. And has sold some amazing instruments on here - great playing too ! GLWTS
  19. Downsizing my kit and this lovely Ashdown has to go. (the one in the top in the picture obviously!!) Its a 2x10 Model number "MAG210T Deep". They now seem to cost about £200, so I reckon this is worth £80 but no reasonable offer refused. In perfect working order, although one of the corner plastic bits is damaged when it got caught sliding across the back of my car. There is a hard to photograph slight dent in the metal front grill (as you can see, it is virtually invisible in the front facing photo. Standard jack and speakon connections. Its got a nice solid, punchy sound, helped by the horn. Great for use as a "foldback" monitor or as backline in small venues or as I've been using it, in combination with a 1x15. Doesn't weigh too much so easy to lug around. Given size, collection only from near Chelmsford Essex. Thanks for looking PS - the TCE Staccato not include
  20. LAST PRICE DROP TO £100 (or sensible offers!)- incredible value for an awesome sounding pro piece of kit! Decide to downsize my kit, so this lovely Warwick Pro 1x15 (with horn) is up for grabs. They cost around £330 as does the newer model. In very good condition - a bit dusty from standing on the Church platform permanently! Used every Sunday and sounds fab. Very useful in combination with 2x10/12 etc to get them up to ear level! 8 ohms, 400 Watts. Fitted with castors, as originally supplied, but easily removed if preferred. Collection only from near Chelmsford Essex or within reasonable driving distance to meet up.
  21. Well done - lovely, lovely instrument!
  22. Gorgeous bass - is the 19mm string spacing adjustable (downwards?).
  23. Hopefully sitting on rubber pads 😳 What is the string spacing on this one?
