  1. I guess you realise there is a "lefty" section in basses for sale - might get a wider audience. GLWTS 😀
  2. Nice video! Can u be more specific about the dings or provide a close up photo of them? You've got my interest!!
  3. Hi, thanks for the info. Absolutely gorgeous bass. I'm sure at this price it will be gone soon!
  4. Would it be possible to confirm the string spacing at the bridge, the neck width at the nut, and the weight Thanks David
  5. Final bump. I've noticed a couple of very small marks on the bottom edge, not visible from playing or audience positions (see last two pics), so price drop to £850. These are lovely rare (and very light) basses, so grab yourself a bargain!
  6. Pre-Easter bump - skip the chocolate eggs and treat yourself to this! 😄
  7. Absolutely beautiful - if my Warwick moves I might have to look down the back of the sofa for the rest of the cash!
  8. Ha ha! Thanks very much and totally agree with you, mind you without the missus, I reckon I'd need a house with stronger walls 😄
  9. Tuesday morning bump! Still available - one of only a few hundred made, super lightweight, and endless tonal possibilities. Fantastic slap tone with the elixir nanoweb strings and jumbo frets, but equally smooth and punchy played finger style.............not only that but it looks awesome! One more bump then it's staying in the collection, and I'll have to persuade the "boss" to increase the quota to cover the one I'm planning on buying!!
  10. Thanks - it's even better in the flesh! 😄. Would also consider a straight sale......
  11. SOLD SOLD SOLD Looking to trade this lovely Warwick Thumb Ltd Edition "Dirty Blonde" 4 string. It is in really great condition with only a couple of small marks, on the underside (see last 2 pics). Frets have little or no wear, although the fretboard could do with a clean. The screw head on the top of the neck pickup has lost its black paint, and there is slight wearing of the "MEC" logo on the pickup but that's it! Specification is: - 34" scale. Gull inlays - bass number 6/261 made in Germany in 2006 - rear of headstock signed by Hans Peter Wilfer himself - birds eye poplar top with matching headstock. - 19mm string spacing at the bridge - 3 band EQ with active/passive bypass - Elixir nanoweb light gauge strings - weighs in at 3.6kg (yes, really!) I'm looking to trade it as I'm playing 5 strings almost exclusively. Looking to trade for: - the same bass in 5 string. - Spector USA 5 strings (must be "natural finishes" ie not colours) - must weigh less than 4 kilo! - must be in great condition PM me with any interest and if you would like more or different photos - thanks for looking - David NB - located Essex, but pickup in London (City) also ok
  12. Could you advise the weight, materials and year of manufacture. String spacing would also be great Thanks 😀
  13. Make no mistake, these are excellent basses and 9lb is light for a vette $$. I loved mine - awesome tone, great in the mix, and as for the thundering low B..... 😀 GLWTS
  14. Sorry, but can't really make much out from your phot picture! How many strings does it have, and what is the finish (black oil?) . The weight would be interesting too.
  15. David MacGregor is a top bloke. Just bought a really nice Shuker off him, in a very smooth transaction. I would say he is an "old school" type, man of his word etc, so would say you can deal in confidence 😄
  16. Had a look at this yesterday, and it is a very nice bass in good condition. Eduardo is also a top guy. Not sure if I want a Rebop or another Warwick though. Meanwhile, a "bump" from me 😄
  17. Final bump, then the dreaded EBay! Make me an offer 😄
  18. Wow - lovely tone - is that the actual bass, and who is the artist? Awesome. GLWTS 😄
  19. Bump - will take £100 - nice introduction to Fretless for a modest outlay, or PM with offers.
  20. Thanks Jay, but not my thing. USA Spectors only at the moment. PM'd to Jorduan. David
  21. Could you advise the weight, and string spacing at the bridge. Also where the bass is located. Thanks.
  22. Bump! Forgot to mention recently restrung with Elixir Stainless Steel Nanowebs medium gauge. Sensible offers considered plus would trade for 5 string Spector with cash your way (up to £1,000 for a nice USA one) No wide neck ones though. Will consider sending, or meeting in London/South East etc. David
